And this one, too: http://houseofwhining.com/viewtopic.php?p=137362#137362 I tried even removing the 'quote' function. It didn't help.

This page http://houseofwhining.com/viewtopic.php?p=137573#137573 is really wonky.

galaxygirl- 10-26-2010

It should be fixed now.

Boffle- 05-27-2011

Episode thread disturbed by my lengthy blathering about House. Apologies.

radiosweetheart- 05-27-2011

It wasn't you, it was a silly tag.

Not a huge deal (yes, blast it, I at first typed hugh there) but the thread symbols along the left side of the screen no longer show bolded when there is a new post I haven't read. Makes it kind of hard to notice new stuff. Anybody else have this problem? And BTW, those sparkly 'LG Optimus' ads that sometimes appear on this page send my CPU into hysterics.

Anybody else have this problem? Yes, me -- intermittently. HHoW is my home page. When I open my browser, they're pink. If I leave and come back later to read them, they're not highlighted any longer. Forumer is a free host and I'm not sure there is anything we can do about that. I just scan my eye down the right column to see which sections have posts since the last time I was reading. I don't see the ads. What browser are you using -- IE or Safari? Everything else has an ad blocker available. In addition to eliminating the annoyance, so many viruses are linked to ads these days. Forumer was having a problem with that when them left Google ads for some other company which is why Google ads are back.

Thanks for the reply, Poeia. The bolded avatars are working again for me. As to the ad problem, I use Firefox, and I think there is an ad blocker available, but my creaky old PC is getting so flaky that I'm hesitant to add even one more piece of SW to the mix. Guess I'll just live with it, at least until I get a new PC.

Firefox's Ad Blocker works really well.
