TC, did you get a forced logout of the system earlier today?

I think so, I came on and it said to log in, then it said permission denied then I clicked back on and I was still logged in.

The HL thread got all screwy - what did I do wrong? :?

Usually either the first screwy post or the one before it has an extra tag. If you can't find it a mod for that forum will. I get them a lot because I often type the close tag myself, e.g. < / b > (without the spaces, of course. Then, as I hit "submit," the forum decides to close it for me as well and I have to go back and edit out the extra one.

Any idea why PMs sometimes go through promptly, and sometimes languish for days? I had one sit in my outbox for over two days before I deleted it as no longer relevant. Sometimes they seem to sit there for hours. Sometimes they go right through. Am I doing something wrong??

I think your outbox is just PMs you have sent that haven't been replied to yet.

Yup, as HTR said - it means that the person you sent the pm to hasn't picked up the message. When it is picked up (not necessarily replied to), it moves from your out box to your sent box. (BTW, if you select "notify on personal message" in your profile the system will email you to notify you of a pending pm even if you aren't online or haven't visited the site in a while.)

Is it just me or does the site have a lot of problems loading now. I've been either getting the 'timed out' message or if I'm lucky enough that a page actually loads, it still takes forever to load said page. I think it's been going on for about an hour now for me.

Quick question for the mods ... is it OK if I pimp the Hall of Fame fics in the Desert Discs list? There are a lot there there that aren't in the Hall of Fame, and it'd be nice to get more entries in that over on LJ again in the near future. (And to my way of thinking, the Hall of Fame would be the library put together if all of our Desert Disc fics ended up in the same library.)

How does the counter for number of posts work? Noticed that two of my posts both are counted as the same number. The first one was made on 3 Sep 1:00am and the 2nd on 3 Sep at 2:30pm. Never mind, seems to go by the total number, not which one each post is.
