Okay, seriously. Who do I have to fuck to get those "Congratulations, you just won a pair of iPod nano" ads to disappear? They may be the death of me and the fact that there's audio on there only just announces at work that I'm visiting pages I probably shouldn't. Do we the ability to block certain ads?

Is that the one that visually vibrates and sounds tink (pause) tink? I'm with you on that, bailey. The mood I'm in, I'm likely to just throw my computer out the window to make it stop and that would not be a good thing. Turning off audio would be better, but I'm not thinking straight. Tink....tink... So, yeah, block it, request that it be taken out of the circulation, please, please, please, no more...

I keep getting offers of a green card. Someone must really like my posts :? . I do have a problem though. I just can't manage to log in automatically anymore. I keep ticking the box until my fingers get blue, it just doesn't work. Never had a problem with it, but it started a week ago. Any suggestions? As far as I know I didn't change anything on my computer.

Try to empty your cache, and maybe delete your cookies as well - or at least any cookie with "forumer" or "houseofwhining" in its name (deleting them all can log you out of everything else). This worked at the other place when there were problem. And a good restart can help as well. What browser are you using?

Bailey & Boffle - Depending on what browser you're using, you should install an ad blocker. On Firefox, Adblock works pretty good. I get the most bizarre ads when I am on this forum. For some unknown reasons, it always comes up as either the single Muslim or single Christian dating sites. I have NO clue what info I discuss on this board that would bring that up! ;-)

This isn't a board problem, I don't think, but are there any other Mac users with Firefox out there? All of a sudden, on my home computer, I can't get pages here to load. I've tried deleting my cookies, etc, but no such luck. I finally opened Safari and was able to get right in, so I'm guessing it's a browser thing. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone? Bueller?

I'm using firefox on a mac & its fine. Sounds like your browser is the problem - don't just clear the cookies, flush the cache, that tends to fix problems.
