Is somebody else having difficulties to access Elicia's fics, or it's just me? Her LJ was down yesterday, but it's back today.

Lully- 12-28-2007

Thanks, I didn't try her LJ, just the fics I have in my mems, but the access was denied. But everything seems ok now :)

Just stopping in to say thank you for the rec, OldHamster. Not everyday a Cameron enthusiast recs a House/Stacy story. :)

Just stopping in to say thank you for the rec, OldHamster. Not everyday a Cameron enthusiast recs a House/Stacy story. :) You're most welcome. I rec what I like, and I like a well-written House/Stacy (or House/Wilson, or House/Chase or ...) over a mediocre House/Cam fic anyday.

Her LJ was down yesterday, but it's back today. Thanks so much for this cutie, I was really worried last night. elicia's work is just lovely, it would be such a terrible loss!

Very strong rec for this: Title: After the Fire Author: Dee Laundry Rating: PG Words: 468 Summary: After the fire, there are ashes. The prose is just gorgeous, very powerful. The plot itself is original and artfully crafted.

I didn't really know the best place to post this...I am a professor on sabbatical, and I would be willing to beta if anyone has a need.

hihoplastic has a beautiful House/Cuddy fic that had me holding my breath the whole way through it: Straight to Center. Gorgeous, heartbreaking, and written with a blend of delicacy and lushness that reads like poetry.

shutterbug12- 12-30-2007

Strong second for Straight to Center. So beautiful and well-written. The characterizations are especially wonderful.

Elompanti- 12-30-2007

Just came here to see if "Straight to Center" has already been recced. Absolutley loved it and I held my breath throughout just like Corgigirl. Strong thirding! (Or whatever you call it.)

I just very much enjoyed: The Domestication of the New Jersey Housecat by slipstream_chan House, Wilson, and a cat (aw). PG.

Lully- 12-31-2007

Dee has a new H/W fic: Title: Home Front (NC-17) Link: http://deelaundry.livejournal.com/94064.html It's funny and realistic, because sex isn't always fantastic, and there's nothing wrong with that... ETA: I just read this wonderful little fic from pwcorgigirl: Youth, Happiness and Coffee (H/W friendship) Link: http://pwcorgigirl.livejournal.com/175979.html#cutid1 Meaningful and simple. If you still didn't read it, you must!

phinnia- 12-31-2007

Seconding Home Front, Youth and Happiness and Coffee and The Domestication of the New Jersey Housecat. melodyclark posted a very promising beginning to a three part fic: of night and light and the half-light. Just marvelous.

DrSpaceman- 01-01-2008

Thirding the rec for "Youth, Happiness and Coffee." But then I'm pretty sure I'd rec pwcorgigirl's grocery list if she posted it...

DrSpaceman- 01-01-2008

Very intriguing WIP: Hey You by Monica. Rating: PG-13 Pairing: House/Wilson if you wear slash goggles Summary: Surgery is a dangerous thing by itself, but if a patient is lying about something, then the consequences can be devastating. Unfortunately, everybody lies--even House. Also phinnia's wonderful and la-*test*-('") set of drabbles, thirteen not-so easy pieces.
