Two more chapters of Some Days Are Worse Than Others by Sy Dedalus, starting here. Sy said some time ago she had a ending plotted for the story, but just had to write it. Looks like it's moving ahead again, toward some resolution. For those not familiar with it, it's a story that started way back before the end of the first season, based on spoilers for a scene that was never filmed in which House went out, got drunk and picked a bar fight. (I prefer the version that actually was filmed, personally. Quiet desperation.)

And I'll probably lose whatever street cred a Ham shipper gets around here by reccing this after reccing a puppy fic, but the recently updated "House Cats" by MLS1984 is a hoot: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2999417/1/House_Cats Someone leaves House a litter of kittens for his birthday. Hilarity ensues. The author could use a refresher course in capitalization and punctuation (lots of "Blah blah blah." He said.) and leaves the story dangling at the end of chapter 5, confessing a dearth of ideas. But I enjoyed the story in spite of it all. Warning: It's a little Hammy, but not overly so ... at least not yet. Read it with your crack goggles on.

Nah, it's just a different story. I loved your Threesome-verse fic -- it was funny and sweet, and I thought House's wiliness in it was just great. I'm also a big fan of the Pencil-verse, which is really bizarre for me because I'm a huge sissy about Hurt!House stories. And I strongly second nakannalee's Layers. I thought it was an excellent, poignant little tale. ETA: Er ... and by "little," I mean short. I realized after the fact how that might sound. :wink:
