Is there anyone out here who isn't reading maineac's amazing Sleeping Man?
Okay, yes, it's a work in progress. However, she updates regularly and it's so worth the wait. I consider this story to be cosmic revenge for the painful cliffhangers I helped inflict upon the readers of Aftershocks. It's not just suspense; there's a lot of great characterization going on and it's one of those stories that grabs you and won't let go.
House and Wilson, gen but the author says "slash if you wear slash goggles."

Title: The History of Being Wrong
Author: maypirate
Character/Pairing: Cutthroat Bitch (Amber)/Thirteen (13)
Rating: R for cusses and hatesex
Summary: If you're afraid of failure, it's usually because you've done it before.
Really brilliant characterization with a perfect blend of snark.

Thanks for the rec, Blackmare.
As to Sleeping Man being a WiP, there is an end in sight, and I feel it actually works better if you read it in installments--kind of like Aftershocks does.
As to the "cosmic revenge" all I can say is: Bwaa ha ha.
You deserve it, all of it. And more.

Many thanks for the recs of Past Present Imperfect! Such nice words here give me all kinds of warm fuzzies ...
Here's a rec of my own, for genagirl's latest. It's a sort of episode tag for "Games," and takes the patient's situation to what I believe is a perfectly plausible conclusion. In gena's summary:
Wilson has a very bad experience and, amazingly, House offers support - in his way.Game Over
Primay Care has been updated again.
House is high. Chase and Wilson are talking. Tritter is a looming threat. Good stuff. Go read it!

Enthusiastically seconding the rec for Rewind. What a great episode it would be!

Reccing a story by someone who says it's his/her first fanfic -- it's a really nice "five things" take on House's now-famous (infamous?) statement to Wilson in "97 Seconds." It's by closercloser.
Five Ways Wilson Could Have Reacted, And One Way He Didn't
It's first-person House, which can be difficult to carry off, but I think the author does a very good job.

Seconding this. A daring move, doing first-person House for one's first effort, and she pulls it off.
And reccing TeenWitch's "Hark, How the Bells":
http://teenwitch77.livejournal.com/213330.html#cutid1
Fair warning: It's a Christmas oneshot featuring House, Cam and a puppy, and it's perfectly in character and not the least bit sticky-sweet. I think I'm pretty good at keeping House IC, but I stand in awe of anyone who can incorporate a cute, fuzzy critter into a House fic without turning him to mush.

Strong second for Five Ways Wilson Could Have Reacted. Excellent stuff.
KidsNurse has posted a really nice Epilogue for Peanut Butter and Blood. She blames me for its existence, but don't believe her. All I did was bring the thing out of hiding so that the rest of us could enjoy it.

Seconding 'Hark, how the Bells'. A very believable setup, and the characterization is perfect for both parties.
And to continue being out of character, I'm not usually a House/Cuddy 'shipper but ellixian's Five times Cuddy drives House's car is excellent.

Seconding KidsNurse's Epilogue for Peanut Butter and Blood.
