Poeia, thanks for the link to "Santa's House." I was thinking I should put a link to it on my LJ, for everyone who didn't see it last year, but I hadn't gotten around to digging it up. Now it will be easy-peasy. But I did just notice that the first scene is in a totally different tense from the rest of the story. Oh well.

Second Shipper's "When House Met the Wilson Wives". The back story works very well and all the characters are believable. Hi, Blue. I just got home and saw that the story had been pulled. It dealt (sympathetically, I might add) with Wilson as a fallible human being, and apparently some of KidsNurse's readers felt the need to jump all over her for the premise of the thing. I was astounded and saddened. I read the piece, did a little concrit on it, and highly encouraged her to post it. I'll go remove my rec now. *sigh*

joe_pike_junior (also known as Armchair Elvis) has a new story up: Other People. It's House as seen from the second-person point of view of three of his patients through the years, and it really does work. The last one, I think, is particularly powerful. (The paragraph spacing is unusual, but don't let that put you off.) Blackmare, I saw Kidsnurse's story and also enjoyed it, but didn't get a chance to leave a comment while it was still posted.

I enjoyed this Cameron piece: Oak Trees and Grapevines Angsty stuff, but it's nicely handled.

I'm...wow...insanely happy! snark_bait is back with a new chapter of Five Years Later (also known as the best Ham on the market and the only kind I'll have anything to do with).
