Thank you for the recs! I'm overwhelmed - and I'm relieved that it was an adequate birthday fic for elynittria.

Hi AtreidesHeir! Maybe you could ask the nice people in the fanfiction discussion thread on how to find a new non-busy beta? The reason I've never left a comment on your story is that I don't have an account on ff.net, but I meant it when I said that it's one of my very favourites. Topic? I really liked mer_duff's non-psycho John House POV story Patience.

I second Corgigirl's rec of topaz_eyes' rec list. A veritable goldmine!

phinnia- 11-24-2007

Thanks so much for the recs on 'Four Seasons', corgigirl and chickleta! I really appreciate them. Namasteyoga has a wonderful piece of newbiefic set during the last scene of 'Alone': In the Beginning. Very nice. :-)

Many thanks for the kind recs of Count Your Blessings! Strong rec for a great collaborative effort from nakeno and recrudescence -- this is a terrific H/W fic, and I'll let their summary speak for itself since I don't want to give anything away. Over time, their lives and things and relationship just coalescing into one place. It's rated R. Comfort Zone

Shutterbug_12 has the first installment of a lovely House/Stacy fic up: Eden Sank to Grief. She has a wonderful talent for capturing the time when those two intelligent, complicated people were deeply in love. It's not to be missed.

Seconding Eden Sank to Grief. House/Stacy is hard to write, but Shutterbug has produced a heady mix of competetiveness/sexual attraction with a dash of tenderness that is irresistible.

Here's a bone-chilling little Foreman and House bit from perspi, entitled Tangent Universe. There is major character death involved, but in less than 600 words, it packs a heck of a punch.

chickleta- 11-27-2007

One of my favourite House-as-a-kid stories has been updated! South of Normal, by Inspector Minkey. ...I've been alienating people since I was three!... And House has, but why? Spring of '63 onward. Rated: T

Thank you so much for the recs! :) Seconding Tangent Universe. It's a really gripping piece.

New Story!!! Primary Care at ff.net or at LJ by: fluffy2001(ff.net) / fluffykitty2001(LJ) Set during the Tritter arc. House asks (orders?) Chase to take over as his primary physician. The AN says: I have never been happy the way Cuddy and Wilson both dealt with House and his pain issues during that entire Tritter mess, so I took on this "what if?" scenario. It takes place immediately after Merry Little Christmas. In this fic, Chase refuses to enable, but he won't force House's hand either. No slash, but there is a physical exam in chapter two! Awesome quote from House to Cameron: “You and Foreman quietly dance along the edges of the box, when you’re pushed. Otherwise you’re standing right in the center, where it’s safe. Chase is never in the box, only glancing at it from outside questioning its relevance. You were the one screaming at Wilson a few days ago over what’s best for me. Now that you don’t get to be involved, all of a sudden it’s not good enough?” It's going to be good!!! Trust me. I have sneak peaks. ;)

Title: Love Is A Battlefield Author: Starlingthefool Pairing: House/Wilson Rating: R Summary: "Karaoke leads to love." Wonderful, hilarious dialogue. Such a great pick-me-up, and guaranteed to inspire giggle-fits. Includes a fun original character.

I don't recall seeing this recced here: Phinnia's "Caution: Contents Under Pressure." http://community.livejournal.com/house_wilson/1899546.html?#cutid1 House grocery-shops for himself and Wilson. Or rather, House lets his inner 8-year-old out to grocery-shop. It's hilarious. And thirding "Love Is a Battlefield." Delicious. And this is coming from a Hameron shipper, peeps!
