Does anyone remember a post-infarction story where, at one point, House was sitting outside the emergency room watching people, and a med student or someone mistook him for a patient, tried to help House up, and he nearly fell over? That's all I remember about it, I know it's not much to go on. I'm preeeetty sure it's Wilson's POV.

... in August, House had been hanging out near the ER, checking out the new students. A first year, shirt neatly pressed, his short, white lab coat still gleaming, had seen him sitting there, bouncing his cane. He obviously hadn’t noticed that everyone else ignored House, and had mistaken him for a patient. ...

You're not even close to stupid, chickleta. It's four paragraphs out of an eight-chapter, 37,000 word fic. Heck, I'm surprised anyone would remember. (I had to think about it myself.)

While searching for that fic, I found this old one that I read a thousand years ago. Take As Directed by Jennamajig. Post-infarction, House Wilson strong friendship. Goes from right after it until the Pilot, including preseries!Chase and Cam.

She hasn't written much House fic, but she has a nice premise and the writing's good. Unique setting, too. House is a bit too mobile given the setting, but I'm looking forward to reading more from her.
