Kidsnurse has another new short piece What Wilson Knows. Expresses the mood, in words, of Blackmare's lovely drawing of Wilson.

I'm hoping someone knows this great fic I'm trying to identify so I can read it again: I remember it was on fanfiction.net. I thought it was a KidsNurse story, but no luck there. The scene that sticks out in my mind is that House is in the hospital, and an orthopedic doctor who is a former football player comes to treat him. They discuss football while he's checking out House's leg.

Strongly seconding "What Wilson knows" by Kidsnurse. Very beautiful but very sad - I can say from my own experience that it's not wise to open this while at work.

There is the most gorgeous new story from NIeded, a sequel to her haunting Asphyxiation: In High Seas Rated PG-13. The water must be cold.

Juliabohemian's A Lesser Evil (House recovering from a stroke) is up to Chapter 42. btw, the story with the football player might be a sy dedalus story, but it's not Some Days Are Worse Than Others.

In High Seas is fabulous. But yes, so sad. Do go read, but have something fluffy and happy to act as prozac at the end. This isn't enough to go on, i don't think, but I'm sure I read a fic somewhere that had House using crutches. Not the full ones, the wrist ones. And that's all I remember, except that it was really good. I just thought I'd ask you guys. On the off chance anyone knows what it's called.

Thanks so much! Yes, it was Some Days are Worse than Others. The character I was thinking of is Dr. Chris Masterson from that story, described as a "burly ex-defensive lineman."
