Another fascinating story from Nightdog Barks: Title: Minotaur Link: http://community.livejournal.com/house_wilson/1804298.html#cutid1 House-Wilson, strong friendship Rating: "R" for language. Summary: Of all the visitors to House's office, this was one of the strangest ... Metaphorical and funny. Every time you read it you find a new meaning hidden between the lines. And I second the rec for "Stage Five". Simple, poignant and lovely!

Recommending a very fun friendship piece for House & Wilson, from an author I haven't seen before. This might have happened before S4 started, who knows? Title: The Duckling Variations Link: http://kaydeefalls.livejournal.com/435298.html Pairing: House, Wilson friendship Rating: PG-13 Summary: Wherein are several interviews, an assortment of exotic accents, a lamentable lack of political correctness, and Wilson fears for the future of the medical world.

Title: The Birds and the Bees Author: exhumedpotato Link: http://exhumedpotato.livejournal.com/10335.html#cutid1 Pairing: House, Wilson, Cuddy, S4 characters Rating: PG-13 Summary: House gets a little surprise <--- sorry, even a summary could be spoilery Warning: Serious spoilers (mixed with spec) for upcoming episodes This is a very cute, funny story with fun dialogue and an adorable House-voice.

Strong second for "The Duckling Variations." Even if you don't like the word "duckling," don't let that put you off. (It doesn't actually appear in the story, anyway.) The fic features a believably funny Wilson, always a hard thing to pull off. As you might expect, it's strongly reminiscent of the scene where House and Wilson interview candidates for Cameron's replacement, but it's not a boring rehash of canon--both the candidates and the jokes are very different. Looking around on the author's site, I found one other House story--Four Ways House Might Have Met Wilson (But Probably Didn't). "How House met Wilson" isn't one of my favorite genres, but I'm glad I gave this one a try. http://kaydeefalls.livejournal.com/411549.html#cutid1 According to her tags list she writes in a bunch of other fandoms, too, so you might want to have a look to see if any of your secondary fandoms are there.

Really interesting House back story: http://users.livejournal.com/_vicodin/55518.html

If you've ever wanted to see a House/Supernatural crossover with medical plot, read My Brother's Keeper by Eos. Summary: Sam has fallen into a coma, Dean knows why and House doesn't believe him. Clash of Big Egos ensue. A House ep with a SPN diagnosis. Fantastic banter, as always from Eos, good plot, some interesting insights into Wilson's homeless brother, and some crack but in a strangely plausible way. Well worth the read, even if you're not a SPN fan. http://ducks-in-a-row.livejournal.com/47090.html No knowledge of SPN really required to enjoy this, for those who aren't familiar with SPN canon.

A new section of Aftershocks is up, Wednesday Afternoon in the Park with Martin. Summary: When you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself. Those evil people have left another cliffhanger for the night.

Second the new chapter of Aftershocks. Terrific and terrifying!

Corgigirl- 10-01-2007

Strongest possible second of the rec for "Wednesday Afternoon in the Park with Martin." It's terrific and oh, so chilling.

Alex51324 has two really good stories up. Run there to read them! There's Limericks follow-up which is sweet and very hot at the same time and very much NC-17 and deals with H/W's relationship growing, and there's Happy Ending - A Threesome story which is very, very much NC-17 and is Ch/H/W and a punishment. Yay! I figured out how to do the cool link-thing! And thirding Aftershocks!

Manic Black- 10-03-2007

I strongly second the Limericks follow-up.

I am so into OT3 fics right now, whichever combination that means to people. I will read ANY well-written, IC threeway fic these days. Seriously. H/W/Cu, H/W/Cam, H/W/Ch. Oh, right, but two of the people need to be House and Wilson... Any recs?

Oh, right, but two of the people need to be House and Wilson... Any recs? Eos, otherwise known as ducks_in_a_row on lj writes some fantastic House/Cuddy/Wilson fics. Some of my favourites: - Too Wise To Woo: http://ducks-in-a-row.livejournal.com/45996.html - The Worst Idea In The History Of Matrimony: http://ducks-in-a-row.livejournal.com/44505.html - this particular fic is one of my personal favourites of all time - Three Blind Mice: http://ducks-in-a-row.livejournal.com/42720.html - Talk Is Cheap: http://ducks-in-a-row.livejournal.com/40487.html - and the follow up fic to that, Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is: http://ducks-in-a-row.livejournal.com/41169.html - Inevitable: http://ducks-in-a-row.livejournal.com/39706.html - Old Dogs/NewTricks: http://ducks-in-a-row.livejournal.com/41365.html If you're after long threesome fic, try asynca's House/Cuddy/Wilson fic, Essential Elements Of Teamwork. It's plotty, engaging and, well, it's H/Cu/W, which is always a good thing ;) Teamwork: http://asynca.livejournal.com/175598.html - as well as the sequel Eggshells: http://asynca.livejournal.com/213503.html
