Jenniffer Butterfly is the first to take the Get Chase Hugged Challenge. Just curious, but where do you find the challenges? I'm an avid fanfic reader and would love to see what the authors challenge each other to write. And J_B's fic was so sweet and sad :crying:

The basic rule is that fics have to be Chase/Cam, but the leader said if you can write a really decent gen, she'll allow it. But you CANNOT have another type of pairing. If there's a pairing, it must be Cam/Chase. I'm not sure if you can do a multiple pairing story as in H/W AND Ch/Cam, but Ch/Cam has to be there for sure. Re challenges, I've found the get_house_laid fest to be enormously inspiring, though it's nearly finished. Now I'm really looking forward to the wilson_fest and - most of all, esp. if I can be determined enough to come through with the Nero Wolfe crossover prompt - house_bigbang.

Seconding Tympani, which is the fic you need to read if you want to find out just what it is what draws House to Foreman. (And if you think the answer is "he enjoys pissing him off?" - well, you're not wrong.) As usual, the House voice is pitch perfect, both internal monologue and dialogue, and it's true and funny enough to enjoy, IMO, even if you're not a fan of the pairing. One of the few House voices I can actually hear in my mind. Reading other stories in this 'verse really isn't necessary to enjoy this one. (And okay, it says I beta'd it, but I really didn't do anything but say 'hee!' a couple of times.)
