So maybe I'll rec something old instead. Here's one of my favorite House & Wilson stories ever in the whole wide world:

It's an unexpected, very unique little story that could read as either very slashy or else simply as ... House's own strange brand of close friendship. It's a fascinating look at the way House handles
trust, in any case. And the atmosphere? Magically lovely.
Those who know Nightdog only as the Torturer of Wilson, really should check this one out. It's a very gentle story, safe for all.
