Bitter Angel is coming along (and go check out this author's other works - but you just have to ignore the double G - you'll understand when you see it - but she does excellent, if a tad sappy (I'm usually in tears by the first paragraph), House/Wilson):

Are we just rec'ing everything we read, or only things that are good? Can we please include a REASON why we should read something?

Siriusly, things that you think are good & worth others taking a look at, recognizing that others may have (or not) the same tastes that you do.
There are also a lot of multi-chapt fics out there which are tough to track if you're not on lj or ff, so folks post updates to fics they know are being read by the community as a courtesy after someone recs it for the first time or two.
Reasons are great if folks will take the time to jot down thoughts, but recognize we're still working on encouraging everyone to list pairings/rating etc. :wink:

Spin But Don't Fall Down
Strong second for Spin But Don't Fall Down. The imagery is excellent, and the situation is just perfectly drawn out. Delicious, delicious apocafic from the extremely talented and poetic modernsaints.
Second for "Postcards from Ruritania." If anyone isn't reading it already, it's the one where fanon!Chase and canon!Chase switch places. It's kind of like the P.L.O.T. Device stories in that it starts out with a cracky premise, but then everything that follows from that is realistic and genuinely insightful about the characters. (Well, that's what I was going for with the P.L.O.T. Device stories, anyway. Reviews seem to suggest that I achieved it.) And Postcards definitely does.
