I'm not quite too sure what to make of this story or where it is going, but it is very intriguing and thoughtful.
It's general, but uses the show for canon, involves character death, but is Poeia Compatible (ie - not scary).
All The King's Men:
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3654472/1/All_the_Kings_MenJust found another one. This is a lovely little House/Wilson romatic vingette involving rain:

Practise for Dee (and a betteronvicodin prompt).
Fluffiness and lollipops abound.
And
starlingthefool has updated the House/Dead Like Me crossover
For Every Closed Door - Definitely R H/W

Seconds Raindrops (reced by sheep). Simple and sweet.
Noobish question - are we limited to new fic ?
Jouse, no - particularly if you think there's something good out there we may have missed when it was first posted.
Asynca post a hilarious, but very cute fic. She said is crack, but I don't think I agree...
Rating R
H/W (but Cuddy has a brief mention)

(I hope the link works!)
And here's another one: Recrudescence's "Frigiferous"
Very hot, literally! H/W N-17 and kinky!
http://recrudescence.livejournal.com/57577.htmlFor Every Closed Door
H/W
Sexual references
Death (but in a sort of good way)
Poeia compatible

I have to second For Every Closed Door. This has been an amazing fic - I'm just bummed that it's next part will be its last. It's worth a read and while its a House/Dead Like Me crossover, you don't need to know the show to understand the fic. starlingthefool takes the concept of DLM (which is fully explained) but not the characters. Its so well done.
There are two new sections of Aftershocks up
http://black-cigarette.livejournal.com/9893.html How Wilson Got Away and
http://black-cigarette.livejournal.com/10115.html Incoming
For those who may not be familiar, the Aftershocks series is this huge collaborative monster written by nightdog_barks, perspi, deelaundry, and blackmare_9 (that would be me).
It started with nightdog_barks's very dark, violent Bad Company. In which she broke Wilson. Badly.
Aftershocks is the rest of the story. Anyone who wants the full timeline can find it here: http://black-cigarette.livejournal.com/9070.html#cutid1
Each new segment will be linked to the timeline as it's posted. We've lost track, but our last count had the number of segments (of wildly varying lengths) at approximately sixty. It's an intense read, but any of you who survived Bad Company should find this somewhat easier to deal with, since the violence is over.
I hope I'll be forgiven for this sort-of self-reccing, but I'm in awe of the work my friends have put into this and amazed that I got to be part of it. I will now officially shut up about it.
Many thanks to Sheep and Misanthropicobs for the recs!
Joining the many thanks for the recs for Aftershocks. Just wanted to add that we're posting new chapters on weekdays only. We *might* be done by the time the new season starts. Maybe.
I enjoyed Karaokegal's
Jealous Guy for its Wilson characterization and POV.
