I'm a little behind the posting dates for these fics timewise, but I still want to make sure they get recc'd. They are both Chase-centric fics, but I recommend them for the plain excellence of the writing and the fact that the supporting characters are depicted as deeply as these authors depict Chase.
The first recc is for the latest two chapters of Silenced by quack675, Chapter 38, Snapshots I being particularly powerful.

Even if you haven't read any of Silenced before, you will definitely be able to tell the preceding events from context--and the scene between Chase and Foreman in the second half of Chapter 38 is simply one of the most powerful emotional scenes I've ever read between two House characters.
My second recc is for Enigma's "Warning", a post-meth fic dealing with Cameron and Chase a couple of weeks after the drug incident.

It takes a while for some of these loooong things to come to fruition (Chris has wound up at 20K words and my bigbang fic - which still won't emerge for a while - at 28K...)

Thanks for the recs. I was completely selfish and after spending the last couple of months with my head down writing the BigBang fic -- and feeling like I'd been writing in a vacuum with no feedback (not my normal style, so it's part of the challenge there for me) -- I just really wanted to put something out so I could get some feedback. I feel better now, thanks.
I think the BigBang fics start coming out in mid-March. The deadline to ship a complete draft is Feb. 15, then there's a month for the artists and a month for the writers to fine tune their fics. I'm intentionally taking a break for a couple of weeks from polishing my story so I can hopefully look at it with fresh eyes.

house_bigbang goes live on 30 March. The mods need some time to code up after the writers and the artists have done their stuff.

I have to squee over this partly because it was written for me (my gf wrote me surprise fic for valentines' day, omg), but largely because I'd be squeeing over it even if it weren't, because it's awesome and funny and hot and it features Wilson baking: Do You Know The Muffin Man?
(also: there's a Jack Harkness/Cthulhu fic a few entries back, if you're into that sort of thing. It works, seriously.)
