I don't think I've seen this one mentioned. Unnamed new fic by datsun99, a writer I was not familiar with. It is a WIP, which I usually avoid, but the story sounded intriguing so I decided to give author and story a try. I started reading and found a very intense, and in my opinion, well written fic that has captured my attention. Hello peeps, I would like to make a request. I visit here often in hopes of being steered towards good fic so I don't have to wade through all the drek out there to find the gems. However, I have noticed that I see many of the same names recced over and over. Now, this is great because I KNOW those are great writers. In fact, I have most of them bookmarked... and almost anything by them is fantasitc. But those are also the authors I check out anyway, even without specific recs. It would really benefit me (and probably others) if folks would also make a greaster effort to rec great fics by those "unknown" authors who might only post once in a blue moon, because THOSE are the fics I am most likely to overlook. If something is posted on someone's LJ, or someone has written only one House fic and are not well known in the fandom, THOSE are the fics that might be missed by me and by others because they don't show up places that people frequent. I don't think people are deliberately NOT reccing these fics, but it may be that they tend to get overlooked or lost in the shuffle. So if you stumble across one, please make an effort to post the link here. I would really appreciate it, and I suspect others might as well. Thank you. Lag :)
