Ok, you guys should know: The Beeb are fucking around with Torchwood air dates. I'm compiling them all now and stuff and I'll post them when I've got them all, but all these changes mean that in at least one instance, BBCHD won't air an episode on the same day as BBC2/3. This may affect the pixies that you guys love so much... I'll let you know.

407- 03-15-2008

Right, here's what the Beeb have told us: Next Week Wednesday 19th March 09.00 pm // BBC2 // 2x10 From Out of the Rain 09.00 pm // BBCHD // 2x10 From Out of the Rain 09.50 pm // BBC2 // 2x10 FOotR Declassified 10.00 pm // BBC3 // 2x11 Adrift 10.00 pm // BBCHD // 2x11 Adrift Thursday 20th March 07.00 pm // BBC2 // 2x10 FOotR Kids 07.50 pm // BBC2 // 2x10 FOotR Declassified Friday 21st March 09.00 pm // BBC2 // 2x11 Adrift 09.50 pm // BBC2 // 2x11 Adrift Declassified 10.30 pm // BBC3 // 2x12 Fragments Week Starting 24rd March Tuesday 25th March (v. important day) 07.00 pm // BBC2 // 2x11 Adrift Kids 07.50 pm // BBC2 // 2x11 Adrift Declassified Wednesday 26th March 09.00 pm // BBCHD // 2x11 Adrift 10.00 pm // BBCHD // 2x12 Fragments Friday 28th March 09.00 pm // BBC2 // 2x12 Fragments 09.50 pm // BBC2 // 2x12 Fragments Declassified We don't know whether 2x13 will air on BBC3 this day or not - nothing has been said Week Starting 31st March Friday 4th April 09.00 pm // BBC2 // 2x13 Exit Wounds 09.50 pm // BBC2 // 2x13 EW Declassified That's as much as I know right now. Thanks 407. Was there a change this last week, or was it just due to the US Daylight Savings Time taking effect?

Hail the Random- 03-15-2008

Thanks, 407. I just know to watch them when my LJ friends list fills up with "Question from episode 2.0X" and other such things.

I think it was the DST, AZ

There are a lot of really bad Torchwood spoilers floating around now. People seem to pretty much believe that the spoiler about -->Tosh and Owen dying is true. Also, Jack gets buried alive by Grey.<-- Here is a link to what they're saying at TWoP. Are TPTB aware that the fan reaction to Gwen is lukewarm at best? I know that online fandom isn't necessarily representative of fandom as a whole. But I know a few folks, outside of fandom, who watch TW casually and not one of them is fond of Gwen.

I know that some people like her. Even I like some things about Gwen. And I think that Eve Myles is a capable actress. I just don't think that character is appealing enough to carry the show. I like her best when she's functioning as part of the team. Not so much when she's the focus of the episode.

Sauty - my take on Gwen is pretty much the same as yours. Personally, I think James Moran should write her forever more, because I actually really liked her in Sleeper. I can't even remember why... I just remember feeling things other than annoyance for her. And she is, for the most part, kind of adorable with Rhys. And I've been agonising over those spoilers for a couple of hours now. But there are some more - they all originate from the same place (Cold Dead Seed - a James Marsters/Spike forum). Apparently they've been taken from the shooting script (not the actual, final episode). This source is actually pretty damn reliable, as far as I can tell. Anyway, here - - Jack is taken back through the rift by Captain John...and Grey appears. Grey shoots him, flings him into a grave. John flings his ring into the grave with Jack, which helps Jack escape somehow. - Tosh and Owen both die. Really die. And they listen to each other die on comms *Has something in her eye* Tosh is shot by Grey, whilst Owen dies due to radiation exposure. - Grey tries to summon the weevils after breaking into the hub. Owen stops him (hurray Weevil king!) - Ianto is attacked by a monk at some point. Look people, its Torchwood, it has to have some complete crack in there somewhere! - Grey is a bad, bad man. Although he appears to have some reason to be mad at Jack considering nasty creatures did things to him when he was separated from Jack. copy&pasted from the T_W lj community.

You know, when the spoilers first came out, I didn't believe them. But now they're supposedly coming from several "reliable" sources. The spoiler about -->Tosh's death bothers me very much. Not just because she dies, but because it seems so horrific. TPTB have tortued the character for two seasons and now she's supposedly going to die a painful, drawn out death? I'm almost ready to cry misogyny. Or sadism. Did Chibnall write this episode? And I will not watch this show with Eve Myles as the lead. I've seen the rumors aboutt Martha joining the team. As much as I love her, that's not enough to keep me watching next season. And what's going to happen to Ianto?<--SPOILER SPEC!

407- 03-16-2008

Chibnall wrote the last three eps of the series, Sauty. I... uh... just read the original post that those spoilers came from. It's... uh... yeah. I'm slightly terrified of this episode. DO NOT WANT.

Hail the Random- 03-16-2008

That is just not fair. We finally have a winning mix. Why destroy it?

arizonamyrie- 03-16-2008

Because Chibnall is leaving at the end of S2 - he certainly made his mark.

Hail the Random- 03-16-2008

That would explain a lot. And did Chibnall happen to write Cyberwoman too?
