I so loved it when Jack sort of growled at Ianto.
Is Jack's office smaller this season?
Hail the Random- 02-02-2008
"Hello? Anyone there? No! Because the phones don't work!"
I thought it was bigger. Didn't they say it was bigger?
arizonamyrie- 02-03-2008
Maybe it's bigger on the inside. :D
March301 mentioned that the conference room is the Valiant set. Very cool. And I think Jack's office does look bigger as well. Everything looks bigger.

Your right. They did say it was bigger.
For some reason though, I thought it looked kind of small in episode three. it must have been the angle.
Hd.net has some new episode descriptions posted. WARNING! SPOILERY!
I'm especially intrigued by the descriptions of episodes five, six, and seven. I'm also wondering if SPOILERS-->it's possible that Owen becomes part weevil. And does someone die? So much Gwen. Gwen, Gwen in the descriptions.<--SPOILERS
ANOTHER NEW SPOILER ON TWoP
-->A poster at the forum formerly known as Outpost Gallifrey has seen a preview of episode 11, which was apparently shown to lots of important Cardiff people as that episode is very heavily focused on Cardiff.
As part of a discussion on whether there will be any sex scenes between Jack and Ianto, he said that there is a scene in this episode with the two of them topless in bed, having a snog. This would seem to confirm that the relationship between the two of them continues throughout the entire series. <--
I hope that's true!

, he said that there is a scene in this episode with the two of them topless in bed, having a snog.
That sounds fun. :D

I so loved it when Jack sort of growled at Ianto.
Me too! I think he was frustrated at the lack of information from the alien sleeper, and Ianto was totally yanking his chain about his 'bad cop' routine not being all that scary. In fact, Ianto was teasing him something wicked throughout that whole episode! I loved when they said to stop the mind scan at the first sign of trouble and Ianto adds dryly, "or exploding." Then he sits in the chair and pretends his brain is being fried until Jack chases him away. It's so cute. It's like Ianto is more comfortable with the boss now and doesn't hesitate to tease him. I think he's stopped calling him "sir" now, too (although I always thought that was a bit kinky and kind of hoped that Ianto would ignore Jack's request to drop it.)

I officially love AfterElton's Torch wood recaps. This bit about Owen cracked me up.
Jack tells Owen he wants them to stay all night with the surviving burglar to see if he wakes up and talks. Owen hangs up and promptly passes off the entire assignment onto Gwen. She goes along with it, less out of ignorance about what he’s up to, I think, than sheer desire to be away from Owen’s Dr.-Zaius-like visage and gropey paws.

I enjoyed the fourth episode of Torchwood tonight -not quite as much as I enjoyed the first and third episodes though.
Best dialogue?
SPOILER--->
Gwen: Have you eaten Alien meat?
Jack: Yes
Gwen: How was it?
Jack: He seemed to enjoy it.
In the sixth episode we find out that Jack knew Christopher Isherwood! <----SPOILER :D
Hail the Random- 02-06-2008
That is such a Jack thing to say, isn't it?
arizonamyrie- 02-07-2008
Yeah. But what was with his Gwen pining in this ep? I'm really getting sick of that storyline.<----
And yes, that is something Jack would say. But why didn't he hit on Rhys? That's what I want to know.
Hail the Random- 02-07-2008
I am 35 seconds into the new episode and already laughing like an insane person.
That's sad, isn't it?
EDIT: Done. IIIICK! and AWWWW! :(
AS for the promo for next week, I am now completely disturbed. *twitch*

I finally got around to watching last night's episode
SPOILER That was deeply upsetting. That poor alien. Well, I won't be eating meat again anytime soon (Countrycide had the same effect on me) The episode depressed the hell out of me. And were TPTB trying to push a Jack pining over Gwen thing? Because it really didn't work at all. SPOILER
March301- 02-07-2008
SPOILER I think Torchwood is a massive conspiracy to turn us all vegetarian.
I liked the idea of it not being some huge alien monster out to destroy the Earth, but rather humans as the worst enemy. And I remember wondering how they were going to make the creature okay again, and couldn't stand it, and Owen was absolutely right in his choice, unless they could magically make the creature better, Doctor Who style. But this ain't Doctor Who, and it hurt. /SPOILER
Hail the Random- 02-07-2008
It made me cry a little. :( It was so sad!
arizonamyrie- 02-07-2008
But Jack's eaten alien meat, and the alien enjoyed it. . Yeah, it was depressing, and some wonderful acting on JB's part, wonderful empathy. That poor thing. So innocent and lost. And the mods reading this, the episode did not start well for me personally, especially using that to get over it did not work.
