FWIW, I heard that JM was a bit uncomfortable at first. But he said that he ended up examining his own homophobia and coming to terms with it. Once he got to know JB, they had a lot of fun. JM has said nothing but positive things about JB and even said that JB went out of his way to make him feel more comfortable. Also there's a clip of SPOILERTHE KISSSPOILER floating around LJ and The Tube of You. It's hot!

Besides the kiss, I love how Ianto is the one to hail the cab. And I love how it seems to pay homage to old western films with the hero and the villain standing across from each other in the bar and it looks like it's going to be a mad showdown... and then they make out. Gotta love that. And then they go into an all-out fist-fight. And WOW IS THAT KISS HOT!!!!!!<--- I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SEASON TO START!!! Here's just hoping that BBC America won't edit out too much. I heard they were okayed (for S1 and later) to edit out excessive violence, but that they're leaving in anything sexual. Which probably means that the kiss will stay, but the cool music and the fist fight afterwards will be cut. Which sucks.

Is BBC America going to be running it fairly soon after it premieres in the UK? Of course I don't have BBCA just now. I was watching on CBC (I hate my cable station and refuse to pay another $30 a month for another two channels that I want on "digital"), which just finished airing the first season on Sunday, but I've been waiting for a good reason to get another system. This could be it.

Namaste, yes, the US broadcast of s2 is going to start before the end of this month (on 26th, IIRC).

When does the UK season of TW start? Is it the 12th? And for that matter, is there a start date for Season 4 of Dr. Who yet? Not that I'm greedy or anything!

TW starts on the 16th, Fid - one week to go and counting *happy dance* As for DW, all we know is that it'll start some time in March. We probably won't get the date until much closer to the time (hell, we only got the official date for Torchwood last week). The Beeb are weird that way. Must express my extreme love for the first few minutes of s2e1 of Torchwood... it just looks awesome. Then, of course, James Moran is writing episode 2 and I absolutely fangirl him so... Yeah. This week cannot move fast enough.

I envy you 407. Do you have room on your floor for a Yankee to crash so I can get these shows sooner?
