I don't think there's been a single thing established about Cuddy that LE hasn't instigated, except that she's the dean of medicine.
True, but otherwise it seems they wouldn't have given Cuddy any characterization at all. I'm very irritated that LE's only aspiration for Cuddy is that she have sex with House, however.
The Chase and Cameron connection seemed a little too Jesse/Jen to me.
A little?!? And now I'm going to cringe every time Chase & Cameron have a scene together because JS & JM have broken up, too.
I don't know enough about OE or RSL to know what they've contributed specifically to their parts, but I'm sure there's something...
I don't know, except that Wilson makes theatre references sometimes.

Which is adorable. I hope RSL never stops. And are we sure that's his improvisation?
I totally dig that LE is so into House and Cuddy doing it. As much as I dislike Huddy, I think it's cool an actress gives a damn about ships of the show, and also that she's instigating anything. Sometimes it feels like the writers want House to be a eunuch or something, and that the actors are the only ones infusing any sexual tension into the show.

I'd probably dig it alot more if it weren't rife with contradiction. Great, that LE's pulling for a little something-something but most of the time it just doesn't make sense. Nor do a millions of flirty moments she injects in scenes that she's yelling at House to do his job. Makes me wonder what on earth her motivation is lately and depressed that I have to write her off as some bizarre caricature.
SpreadTheWord- 10-06-2007
My number one pet-peeve: Cameron. Her hypocricy. Her judgemental behavior. Her pedistal. Her schoolgirl crush. Her inability to do her job. Her inability to make both sides of the mouth say the same thing. Her freaking hair. Now ever her appearance seems fake.
Ugh. Okay. I'll shut up now.

I've had a very bitter-musing week. I am bitter that House is happy and dancing and playing the guitar and taking less vicodin and no one brings it up. I am bitter that the last two episodes were nothing more than fun, after the interesting character study they delved into last season. Nothing wrong with fun, but House is more than that and I just fear that those shenanigans will take over and after we feared Gray's anatomy, we will now have to fear Scrubs.
Just new-season, new layout willies, don't throw tomatoes.

She's doing it to get screen-time, not for artistic integrity. As do most female actresses, because all woman are good for is fucktoys

I'm bitter over the fact that there's still a risk that they will take this series too far. Americans (no offence) can't seem to let a good tv series just END, they have to make it go ooon and oon..! I want House to go on forever too, but YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT! I'd pray to god every day if I thought it'd keep the producers from taking House to a "season 73762653"... >_< A season 4, ok, but 5... I hope they've got SOME good stuff planned, before letting that happen.

I hope they can end it when they want. That's why I admire the creators of Battlestar Galactica, because they will end their show when they want, not when the fans want or when Sci-Fi wants and I respect Sci-Fi for respecting the creators wishes.
On the other hand of the equation, I never made it through season 6 of Buffy and saw bits and pieces of season 7 and refuse to acknowledge that there are 2 more seasons of X-Files after Duchovny left.
Another thing that sometimes happens is that they have a sucky season(or a few) and manage to drag it out of the crap and have a great final season(West Wing and especially the Practice)
I hope that the House people end it on their terms, but it's going to be hard. Maybe if HL doesn't want to do it anymore they can end it on a high, instead of pushing the show a season too far.

Yeah, I'm not going to get bitter over something that hasn't happened yet.
I'm bitter that Thirteen appears to be a Cameron clone. I'll happily rescind my bitterness if 1) she doesn't make the cut, 2) she turns out not to be a Cameron clone or 3) idonmatrix is right and she's investigating House undercover for some medical agency. That'd be awesome.
deelaundry- 10-08-2007
I'm bitter that the Fox web site purposefully puts no name for Thirteen even though in promo shots you can clearly see that she's wearing a name badge. Obviously people in the hospital know her name, but the viewers aren't allowed to because she's "mysterious."
Lame.

And House has gone blind?!

To which Americans are you referring here? Unless I'm mistaken, the owner of the network is Australian, the chief creator and controller of the show is Canadian and the lead, title character is British. Is your bias showing?
radiosweetheart- 10-08-2007

Not to speak for anyone but I suspect Lulu is referring to the people that made MASH last 4x longer than the Korean War, carried the X-Files on 2 seasons after David Duchovny left, kept Friends running until Ross had married someone from every continent, are re-making Life on Mars so that the first season is longer than the entire series, thought it was a good idea to have Fonzie jump over a shark while water skiing...Should I go on?
I'm bitter that those details are in my brain and that I could've listed another half a dozen without the aid of Wikipedia.
I have no House specific bitterness at this particular moment. Sorry.
EDIT because I should try to credit the right person when I make a reference. And EDIT again because dammit there's too many people on this board.

House has been too busy fantasizing Chase in slo-mo to look at 13's chest. :P
sweet fern- 10-08-2007

And my point is that it's not those people who would be deciding how long House runs but is rather an Australian, a Canadian and Brit... But the assumption seems to be that if bad taste and putting profit over artistic integrity is involved, it has to be the fault of Americans, regardless of where those who would actually be responsible for it may hale from.
