I'm bitter that every single fanfic writer has to put those goddamned macademia nut pancakes in their stories. They were mentioned ONCE, a year and a half ago! Let it GO!!! What a coicidence that this post comes the day after I post a story that includes them. Also, specifically because I don't like being told what I can and can't do in my fanfic, I'll make sure to reference them in EVERY SINGLE FIC I WRITE from now on. *g*

Taiga, please feel free to come over to the October fic discussion thread & air that one out there ;D We're currently discussing fic cliches that drive us nuts. Re W&D - it has its place. Which was to confirm that it (with OD,OR) that dramatic Cameron stuff generally doesn't work & bored the h** out of much of the audience. Have you noticed? There really hasn't been a dramatic Cam-centric ep since with the exception of H-W. I'm not bitter about the kiss (unlike most folks) since it proved she's clueless (umm, needlestick? not going to work, hon. And snooping on House's personal life - way to fail).

Under Little Things That Annoy Us A Whole Lot category, I'm just going to say that I hate it how Cameron and Cuddy turn up in the middle of a House and Wilson sence. Example: Detox, when House smashes his hand and goes to Wilson to get it strapped up. I mean, come on! Why couldn't the girls just page House and say"The father's insisting on the Lupus treatment" or whatever Cameron said? (Which I can't remember right now because my brain isn't functioning properly.) GAH!!!!

The fact that in real life I would be horrified to have House as a doctor and would much prefer Cameron. And that RSL + glasses = my dad with less fat and more hair, which is ridiculously creepy. And ODOR. The Damien Rice was not enough to save the entire ep. Not even Law and Order: SVU could make me dislike a rape victim, but House managed to do it. Wheee.

Little annoyance. In the episode where House got the shoulder sling and new cane, after he traded with the old guy, it was never brought up again. I mean, if there was enough wear to cause him to be in pain, wouldn't it just come back?

I am bitter that the last week until the premier seems to be 3 times as long as any other week.

I'm bitter that I care little about the premiere and still have to wait another week for the 2nd episode.

Heh. Well, time doesn't bend itself to our will. (But how awesome would it be if it did?)

I'm bitter that we don't know whether Wilson got his board seat back when he got his job back. The Vogler arc ended and the board of directors just disappeared.

I'm bitter that we've never seen where Chase lives. We've seen Foreman's happenin' pad, Cameron's homage to Mary Tyler Moore, Cuddy's suburban dream home, Wilson's magic expanding hotel room, and chez House, of course--but only Chase's building's doorway. Bitter, bitter....

Oh, and I'm bitter about Steve McQueen. Whither Steve? I ask myself. Did he survive his Euphoria experience? I'd hate to think he croaked just to save Foreman. Apparently, I'm rather bitter about Foreman, too!

vain, you aint happy, are you?! I know, the Chase apt thing peeves me too. And Foreman, I'm bitter that by rights he should have croaked and didn't (see the Euphoria thread).
