I’ve Slept On My Arm: House In Your Dreams This thread's pretty easy, and to succeed, all you need to do is sleep, or at least dream. Yes, that's right, I'm making you work in your sleep. Get used to it... So, any dreams about the show go here, because I know we're all obsessed enough to have at least the occasional House dream. I'll start:
I was one of House’s fellows, but I was hired direct by Cuddy and not him, to keep tabs on him (kind of like Foreman, but without the attitude). We were working an overnight shift, and for some reason I was helping to set up a booth for a PPTH health fair, which was going pretty well. We had been finishing up on a case with House, but all the stuff was really done and the person was on the mend, so we weren’t really needed anymore (but we stayed around because of the health fair).
I was at the booth and Cuddy came up to me asking, “What game is he playing now?” and pointed at this kid standing in the middle of the entryway near us so we went up to the child to ask who he was (not clear if it was a boy or girl), and the child only spoke Spanish. Cuddy and I were trying to talk in very bad and broken Spanish to figure out who he/she was when House walked by.
Cuddy asked him to help translate and he said, “Eight o’clock, my shift is done, I’m outta here,” and he just left. Cuddy ended up yelling at House as he walked away to his motorcycle while I kept trying to speak Spanish to the kid. When she came back by us the child took our hands and led us to the waiting area for the clinic where his/her mother and grandmother were waiting. We kept trying to find out what was wrong but couldn’t communicate with the family at all because of the language barrier.

Oh, thank God this is here, because I've had three so far this week!!
Last night's the one I remember best: I seemed to be going back and forth between actually being in the show and it being real life (as it were) and I was guest-starring on the show. It's kind of fuzzy, but I distinctly remember Chase needing his eyes taken out, because some sort of weird substance had leaked into them. I also remember asking, "How is he going to make out with Cameron if he can't see?"

I used to have a recurring one where I was the PotW and Chase had to snake a catheter up my femoral artery. That displeased me.

I had a kind of weird dream that my iMac was broken to a helicopter flew in the old team plus ROF from the old number days and they had to fix it using forceps and scalpels and stuff. And once they fixed it, then Cameron dropped it and it broke again.

Actually, I had one too last night, and it was a crossover between House and Doctor Who. I was chasing the Master from DW around this high school to catch for the police, who needed him because House wanted to run some tests on him.

I had a crazy-weird dream last night.
There were loads of little kids(like newborn-1 year old) getting sick and they all got orange spots all over their bodies. So House was trying to figure out what was going on, while Cuddy was dealing with the Joy thing(that's when the dream was set, I guess). And for some reason, there were penguins wandering around. Then House figures out that all the kids are allergic to pumpkins or something and he calls all the parents and told them to come in and get their kids treated. So all the parents grab their kids(who are all wrapped in blankets, I don't know why) and jump into the car, but there are dead penguins on their dashboards.
I blame the Halloween candy I ate yesterday. It's the only logical explanation.

Don't get me started on my Kal Penn/Kutner dream from last night. travlncarrie may still be laughing at me for it.
It was surreal, and it's still bugging me. I'm pretty sure I was married to "him" (really couldn't tell which), and we were going on a date, and my friend (who's pregnant in real life) was going to watch our twins.
I've had to start watching YouTube videos of Kal to get it out of my system.

I've only ever had one dream about "House" and that was not too long after 'Don't Ever Change' aired. It was a short, rather un-detailed dream.
Ok, for some reason I was sitting in a chair in the middle of Cuddy's office and I was watching House and Wilson, I kid you not, doing the tango.
House was leading and Wilson was in no jacket or tie with his white shirt sleeves rolled up.
I seriously have no idea where that came from.

I had a great House dream a couple of weeks ago (after Birthmarks)...
I was sitting somewhere with my friend from work (Eleanor, who doesn't even watch the show ), and Hugh Laurie. It must have been Hugh (as opposed to House), because I asked him if he watched House ( ). He said he did, and I asked him if he saw last night's episode and he said he'd missed it (he was a bit distracted while I was talking to him because he was writing a letter). So I was telling him and my friend about the PotW, and what ended up being wrong with her. Hugh was like "oh yeah, I've heard of that happening", and I was thinking "yeah, you would".
There was also an old photo there of House/Hugh and Cuddy together when they were young (so, you know, dream logic, House and Hugh being the same person...). And I accidentally tore it in half, and so was then trying to get it back together with a gluestick.
Then RSL/Wilson came in and asked if anyone wanted to go bowling. He meant lawn bowls, but was carrying a huge heavy bowling ball, but he was really enthusiastic.
Then Hugh asked him to look at the letter he'd been writing, and it turned out to be a letter to the queen, hand written on lined notebook paper.
:D

Last night I dreamt that Cuddy adopted not one, not two, but three little boys. They must have been triplets because they were identical. They looked like the little half-Aborigine kid I saw in the commercial for the movie 'Australia' before going to bed. Honestly, if I had to have a dream based on a commercial for that movie, why couldn't I have dreamt about Hugh Jackman??

I've had House dreams two nights in a row. In the first one, Chase walked out for some reason (what a surprise) and House followed him and confronted him and made him cry. LOL It was all about firing in the end. Then last night, I dreamed that Chase had a teenage sister/daughter/something which only goes to show I was having a hard time digesting some bad fan fic.

I dreamt that House made a musical episode. A really, really, bad musical episode.
This nightmare is brought to you by my mother, who made me watch Mamma Mia three times in as many days.

Oh man, I've had my fair share of House dreams! For 2 straight weeks, I think I may have had a dream about the show at least every other night, it was ridiculous. And I wasn't even watching excessive amounts of the show, just an episode or two a week, it was strange.
This is the only one I could vividly recall (I posted this on another board, posted it on 12/19/08):
Ok, so the dream starts out, I'm with my mom at a hospital. Not a particularly notable location, the place almost seems abandoned and resembles a school with big open hallways and such. No idea why we're there. We go out back, and it seems like a dump, there's a metal fence that leads to a sewage lake... not really relevant, but I didn't quite comprehend why we were looking at it.
Then, all of a sudden, a man pulls up in a big van. He gets out, lo and behold, its Wilson! (actually, its Robert Sean Leonard, he's not in character). He's carrying a huge cooler. I wanted to yell, "Wilson!" but I refrained, knowing he's not on the show, he's Robert, not Wilson. My mom then yells "Peter!" (that's stranger than yelling Wilson, isn't it?) and they go and greet each other like good friends. For some reason, I didn't find it strange she called him "Peter" instead of "Robert", but whatever, its a dream. So they start talking and I ask him what he's doing here. He said he had to deliver a transplant for a patient and was running late (hence the cooler). We were both puzzled, and I asked him, "Robert, you play a doctor, you're not a real doctor, why are you delivering organs?" He then rolls his eyes and said David Shore wants him to stay in the mind of Wilson more often, so he's having him run errands for the local hospital  .
Wait, it gets stranger. So we walk with him to make his delivery, and the three of us are just chatting, and Robert and I started talking about House.
He says, "Oh please, don't get me started on the show." and I ask him what's wrong with the show? He then replies "Let's just say there's been a lot of tension as of recently." That wasn't satisfying for me, I had to know what was happening! So the dream kind of transitions as I'm talking to Robert, my mom somehow disappears and we meet up with Hugh in what seemed like a hotel setting.
So I kept pressing him for details about what's wrong. Robert says "Oh Hugh will tell you." And Hugh rolls his eyes while laying on a couch and says, "Oh god, the nuttiness going on there. We've had quite a few problems with the writers recently." Really? What kind of problems? "Well, they're secretly, they won't admit it of course, but they've created a conspiracy to destroy the show."
Robert: "It's unbelievable what's been happening." I was so confused, it seemed like there was fighting between actors and writers.
Hugh:"We've been fighting about this one storyline, completely ridiculous. They want House to be canoeing or some ludicrous idea like that, and get wrapped up in a storm and end up on a deserted island, and find a beautiful woman, abandoned, and sick and he will "cure her", but ends up having some sort of sexual relationship with her. It's unbelievable."
I was stunned, why would the writers do this? It seems like they just want to kill the respective show they've put out for so many years.
Robert: "Well, according to them, its not a crazy idea, it brings just enough drama, medicine, and personal agenda into an arc that they need. Sort of a 'House meets Lost meets Gilligan's Island' as they say, type scenario."
Hugh: "Yeah, not crazy, that's a laugh. We've been arguing with them for months, but they won't move. And now that they have award nominations, no way they're going to stop with this great story."
Then, somehow I end up back home at my computer, and I soooo want to break the spoiler news to everyone, or tell them I met RSL and Hugh Laurie, but I felt like I would betray them after they opened up to me, so I refrained.
It was so weird, none of its real, just my mind wandering. But the writers writing House to have a relationship with a woman on a deserted island? LOL! I found that hilarious. And the fact that they were having a revolt was kind of interesting. So yeah, thought I'd share that with ya all, but don't look into it as a real plot, though it felt real when I was dreaming it. *sigh* Wish I met Hugh and RSL...

Last night I dreamt that me, my dad, and Cuddy were at a Big D and the Kid's Table (a band I like) concert... and Dave McWane, the lead singer, came up to us and handed me and Cuddy these yellow-gold t-shirts.... then the dream completely changed and had nothing to do with House, so I won't bother telling the rest

Not too sure if this was a dream or a nightmare: Cuddy doing kareoke to RnB music. Must be all those Huddy fics.
