Viva La Vida, Coldplay's new CD is out, and it does not disappoint. I only wish it had more songs on it.

Anyone brave enough to listen to Chinese Democracy and letting me know where it rates on the suckage/rockage scale? Here's a 'glowing' review You'll have to prowl the interwebz for the actual record, tho. I'm at work-so I'll be anxiously awaiting any reviews y'all might offer.

Me too. I think Slash is pretty awesome though, at least as a guitarist. I don't have a clue what he's like as a human being.

I saw Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers last week (4th time) and its gotten me back into them, the Traveling Wilburys, Dylan..... Mudcrutch's new album isn't bad either.

It's not officially released, 9 tracks were leaked. GnR rocked so hard back in the day-I still get down with some "Don't Cry" or a little "Mr. Brownstone" don't get me wrong-but Axl is scary these days. If I met him on the street I'd run away screaming in fear. When I was about 13/14, I thought that Axl Rose was the dreamiest man on the planet. :oops: Thankfully, my taste has improved. But Appetite for Destruction still rocks.
