I wish I knew what the time frame was . Could it be that she was pregnant, or had already tried and was waiting for results? No, I don't think she was pregnant at that point. She was still searching for sperm donors. I think this was near the beginning of her journey to have a baby. I'm in the camp that she had went up to House's office with the intent of asking him to be a donor.

I'm in the camp that she had went up to House's office with the intent of asking him to be a donor. Me too; and that she had a sudden dose of reality when faced with him.

OK, if LE says that's what it was supposed to be, and you all saw it that way, that must be it! And the sudden dose of reality is what I saw (oh the complications!). In fact, asking anyone at work to be a donor would risk incredible complications.

House: Is that a pill in your pocket, or are you just happy to have a tiny pill-shaped penis? Rewatching Help Me today. House had to notice the pill in the crane operator's pocket for the exposition. Being House, he had to make a joke on it. But it occurred to me -- in broadcast TV does any character say (or has any character said) the word "penis" more often than House does?

Cuddyclothes- 08-31-2010

Maybe on "Family Guy". Here's my question: I'm reading a book about House that says the show has no "bible" the way others have, which is what the continuity, etc. is based on. In her LJ post on continuity errors, Doris Egan said the writers go back over old scripts, trying to make sure everything squares up (and admits it doesn't sometimes). Is this true? And if so, why would a show with such an important timeline and so many characters not have a "bible"? It seems to me the showrunners are extremely overextended.

Namaste- 08-31-2010

Yes, it sound like they don't have a formal written "bible" as some -- not all -- shows opt to have, although David Shore oversees all the scripts, so it's not as if there isn't some consistent overall view. I don't know what the thought process is as to the benefits of having one or not having one. (I get the impression that it has more to do with a show runner's style, rather than being a hard and fast rule that every show must have one.) It doesn't necessarily bug me if every single little detail is perfect, as long as the big storylines are consistent: namely who is this character named House, and makes him tick.

In which episodes has Wilson's Disease been the final diagnosis? I'm doing a powerpoint on the disease for my neurology class and I may throw this in as trivia. Or maybe not. LOL

A couple of years ago a fan was so kind to create a font with House's handwriting or rather HL's handwriting. I must have lost the file when I newly set up my computer. I can't find it backed up anywhere. Does anybody remember where to find it or who created it? Or maybe one of you has it? Thank you kindly (as my favorite Mounty would say)

Here you go! At least that's what I thought you meant, the whiteboard font. Is there another one?
