The media thread probably would be better for that discussion :D
  I'll quickly take it there...
About Wilson being House's only friend, Cuddy implies that very strongly as well, after Crandall shows up. As I recall it she said to House, "I thought I'd met all your friend." She put a very strong emphasis on the singular "friend."
Stacy said it too. House is ranting about her old friends not knowing Mark is being treated by House, and he says that he told his old friends, to which she replies, "Your old friend," and tells him Wilson sent Mark a teddy bear.
My point was that I couldn't think of a time that House said that Wilson was his only friend.
If your emphasis is in the word only, I don't think he did. House called Wilson a friend in the Pilot, DNR and more recently Resignation, but he never said Wilson was his only friend.
He's probably reluctant to admit it. He did say he's "always with Wilson" in The Mistake, though.
Has Chase ever brought a case to House ie the team? The only one I can think of is "The Mistake", have there been others?

He was the one that got the Mom/Baby combo in "Forever".
Thanks! I remembered 'Forever' but I thought that House took over the case when he found Chase in NICU. I remembered wrong.
Another would-be-stupid question: What does House refer to in "They printed my letter" ?
In one episode (can't remember which one), House buys a tabloid newspaper at a newsstand (something like The Enquirer with a Loch Ness Monster-type creature on the front), and then checks the Letters section.
He finds out that the tabloid printed his letter to the editor. He tells several people that during the course of the episode but no one cares. And we the viewers never find out what the content of the letter was.
It was in Act your age, and I meant what letter was he talking about
He wrote a letter to some magazine and they put it in.
But you know that already, right? :D
*sigh* Yeah, thanks ansd sorry I confused you, Dee. I just wanted to know if we ever found out what was the letter about. And we didn't! So what was the point, I wonder? To show us Wilson and Cuddy were too busy dealing with House's shenanigans to pay attention to his published letter? To let us know House writes letters to eerie magazines?
