It was Whac A Mole but Cameron never says what it was. She says, "Here this should tide you over. Takes the edgeoff my PMS, should do wonders for you." Of course the implication is she gave him Midol and yes, I just went and watched the episode to make sure. ahhh. Of course it was.

We're told that Wilson is sometimes thanked for telling a patient that he or she is going to die, but have we ever seen this with any of the doctors on the show? Wilson or otherwise?

CousinAlexei- 08-26-2007

Which episode was it where Wilson found out Julie was cheating?

saara_zaara- 08-26-2007

End of Sex Kills.

CousinAlexei- 08-26-2007

Thank you. I was looking at the episode guide on the official site, and they didn't even mention it! So I was checking all the other episodes, trying to find it...

There was an episode in the Stacy arc that didn't have Stacy, wasn't there? Does anyone remember if there was one, and if so, which?

misere- 08-26-2007

Sela Ward wasn't in Autopsy, TB or Not TB, Daddy's Boy, or Deception. She actually appeared in only seven of the first eleven episodes of season two.

Ah! Thank you, misere!

When does House call Wilson Jimmy except NTK?

hwshipper- 08-27-2007

When does House call Wilson Jimmy except NTK? I'm sure others will have much more comprehensive answers than me but the occasions that spring to my mind are 'Why Jimmy!' when Wilson suggests a steam room for House's cold at the start of Autopsy (great H/W moment) The baseball card inscribed to 'Jimmy Wilson' in Sports Medicine. Actually Wilson calling himself Jimmy, but House does read it out...

Lully- 08-27-2007

There are other two times I remember he called him Jimmy: DNR, when he was introducing him to Dr. Marty Hamilton: "Say “hi” to my friend, Jimmy." In Forever he made a reference about "little Jimmy", but I'm not sure if it counts.

What did Stacy call Wilson? Was it James or Wilson? I remember House's parents calling him Wilson. He referred to himself as James on the phone to the hooker. Duckies have only called him Wilson, right?

Lully- 08-27-2007

Stacy called him "James" in Spin. During the cafeteria scene, she said: "Hi, James." And yes, the ducklings always called him "Wilson".

Poeia- 08-27-2007

Quoting myself (how egocentric is that?) from the Water's October thread): Jimmy is apparently a childhood nickname. The only time Wilson used it was in Sports Medicine when he asked Hank to sign that on his card. But Stacy called him James and when he called Robin at the end of Airborne he said it was James Wilson. House never calls him James and only calls him Jimmy when he's joking: DNR: Say "hi" to my friend, Jimmy. Autopsy. when Wilson suggests steam for House's allergies: Why Jimmy. We’ll talk about this in the morning. Need to Know, at the beginning when Wilson approaches him to find out what happened in Baltimore: Morning, Jimmy. Anybody die while I was gone? Forever, regarding Wilson's upcoming date with Cuddy: She’s got an agenda. Just not one that includes an appearance by Little Jimmy.

Generally I hate "Jimmy" in fic, love "Jimmy" on the show. The ficsters often don't know how to use "Jimmy" appropriately. On the show it is always lovely snark! Used sparingly, "Jimmy" can be used to make so many lovely points. Stacy called him "James" to his face (but "Wilson" in conversations with House). With House it is always "Wilson". Unless there is snark value (see Poeia's list above) Thanks, Poeia!!
