Everyone-thank you! I called the vet and will be able to pick up some Frontline or Advantage (whichever they give me-they both sound great) this afternoon after work. And I'll look into heartworm, too. Damn animals! Costing me money! If they weren't so cute... This weekend I'm going to try to clean up some of the leaves and stuff around the house. My neighborhood is full of stray animals and my house was un-lived in for quite awhile so the area is a flea haven. I've felt like such a bad Beastie Parent/Housekeeper and being the tree huggin' hippie I thought I could beat the bastard!fleas using natural remedies. Yeah. No. Thanks again. I totally appreciate it.

RSH definitely talk to your vet about heartworm preventive and if your animals haven't been tested for heartworm disease get it done as well. From what I've been told heartworm disease is present in every state in the US and is a worldwide problem as well. You can find out a little about it here Heartworm society or here More Info

I've had such a House week at school. First, one kid in my Anatomy class is sure he has lupus. I resisted saying "it's never lupus" because it's not funny if he's really sick. Then in my writing class whe had to come up with a phrase that we know and then respond to it. I chose "Everybody lies." I swear there's one more thing I just can't think of it right now.
