Passio really is a gay P0rn movie about Jesus. The Last Supper is depicted as an orgy. I'm revolted and I'm not even a Christian. Though I'm sure the real religious right will be more offended at the idea of Jesus being gay than at the idea of Jesus having multiple sex partners. :wacko: I find myself completely unsurprised by this. Holy fucking shit. The season premiere of Grey's Anatomy was so unbelievably bad. That show is going to spiral down the drain this season completely.

Hey now, we finally got Mary's name cleared. Having her at the GOGR will just lead credence to the prostitute rumors Da Hubbby and I went to look at a car today. Offerred the guy 1100 for it. He wants 1300 and said someone else is interested in it. If we here from him today we will know he sold it to the other guy, if not, come Thursday I will have a car.

Now I can't get the idea of Romans with chainsaws out of my head. Great. Actually I'm perfectly okay with it. Of course Ash from the Evil Dead movies is my personal hero, so my perspective is skewed. For over a year now my cousin has been losing blood and nobody could figure out why. She's had over six dozen blood transfusions, she went to multiple doctors at multiple hospitals. She would get short of breath very quickly but the doctors thought that was due to her blood loss. Not long ago they decided to operate on her stomach to remove some ulcers they believed were bleeding. They ended up removing her entire stomach. Now in the follow-up -*test*-('")ing they noticed these masses in her lungs (yes, lungs as in both). A year ago an x-ray had shown these "nodules", but it was lost in the shuffle. The surgeon declared he wouldn't have operated had they known. Last week she was called and told that the biopsy showed she has lung cancer. She's minus a stomach and will probably die because, pardon my language, her doctors are goddamn fucking idiots. :mad: This wasn't a misdiagnosis, they just forgot she had growths in her lungs!

*hugs Taiga* I'd love to say something pithy here, but that's just coddamn wrong! I've made mistakes that have cost patients, all doctors have, but to 'forget' an x-ray showing multiple, bilateral lung masses for a full year...*fumes in sympathy.*

Sorry, I'm a little lost on this. (Not that my being lost really matters.) But the doctors said they wouldn't have operated if they'd known? Meaning, they wouldn't have operated to remove her stomach if they knew about the lung nodules or they wouldn't have operated on the lung nodules themselves? At any rate, I'm very sorry to hear about this. It seems like....well, a very good malpractice case, that's for sure. Best wishes to your cousin. Both my parents did battle with lung cancer. It's a tricky one.

Aw, Taiga - that's just horrible. Can't think of anything to say, I don't think there IS anything appropriate to say to this, just that I'm so very sorry to read this...
