If it's any consolation, the first test of the semester is always the hardest one because you're learning how to take that teacher's test rather than learning just the material to review.

I really have no idea where the tumor came from (other than someone's spine). One of my co-workers called me over to the clinical work station with a"You have to look at this!" So I did, because I forgot where I work, and it was a tumor.

I just moved to a new apartment last weekend and discovered that the building manager had done such a crappy job of painting it that I had to do it again myself to make it presentable. I've made good progress so far, but the crucial task remains: to finish painting the window frames so that I can get the television in place and hooked up to the stereo in time for House at 9 p.m. Maybe I should leave work early to make sure it gets done! Otherwise I'll be watching it upstairs with friends, who might find my enthusiasm disturbing. Still, it is tempting -- they have a much bigger tv screen!

YES, I managed to get logged on while at work, first time in 3 weeks the local network setup has let me do it.

Wow-So far today I've: a) been reprimanded for wearing jeans to work (OK-not a big deal, but I like wearing jeans-pity I'm not allowed) b) received a request to feature my couch on some 'ugly couch' contest for Regis & Kelly c) received a letter from my former landlady's attorney informing me that I'm being sued for 'damages' to the apartment and 2 months lost rental income d) been told that I have depression e) stole a sandwich from a lunch 'n' learn I've never wanted a cigarette so bad in all of my days.

Yeah, I had a two hundred pound lady collapse on me on the mall tram on the way to school yesterday, and got electrocuted bad enough that I ended up in the hospital under observation for heart palpations following the accident. Somehow everything else seems damn trivial. I don't know why, just does. Maybe it was the whole hospitalized thing that does it.
