Silja Howard is total history. Just to explain - we devide the country up into little bits and if your lot have the majority of little bits you win and the leader of your lot becomes PM. Howard's (how can I put this) overly heavy handed moderating has not gone down to well and spending 1.7 billion dollars to protect 21 world leaders during APEC (big conference) from Australians - and the worst security breach was caused by a bunch of comedians. Ironically - this years APEC conference involved kick ass security (except for comedians), cutting our nation's capital in half with a five meter fence. The first APEC conference involved a bunch of world leaders in a tent. But it is tricky because unlike in America, where you vote for the president, for a new PM a party has to win the majority of the little bits - so every little bit counts, but generally if people don't like the PM they won't vote for their little bit person either because they are basically junior employees of whatever party. In my little bit we need to swing 19% of the voters around to not voting for Howard - vote for the Greens, Democrats, Ripe Tomato Party (I'm not kidding) - it doesn't matter because we all do prefernce deals. This basically means that if you vote 1.2.3. your votes go in descending order to 1.2.3. So basically Howard is history (especially as even as his trusted advisors have abandoned him) and we are working hard in our little bits. But he hasn't actually called the election. He doesn't have to call it till January and he can do all sorts of sneaky things like call it tomorrow and make it 33 day election - which is really cruel because all the other parties work on volunteers and work and we had the campaign manager of an electorate nearly in tears today because of the stress of trying to get 6000 postal votes out in a 72 hour period with no money. If you thought Florida was muddled - trying getting your hands on an A3 letter folder. ... And I am never getting MASH on DVD as it hasb't been off Chaselandian TV since it aired.

Did you pick dark brown? Because I have had endless good times when attempting to dye my hair dark brown. And people are funny! no, medium copper brown. Yeah, I'll be so wearing a hat if it goes wrong or just not go to work until it has worn off. I think I like the latter better. In other news, there is actually Premier League football on ComCast, it's a rerun but still. I have no idea how that happened, I'm just going to count my blessings that it's actually decent football.
