I don't even read the House threads at the other place anymore and I don't miss it either. I love it here way too much for that.

Aithlyn - Isn't it interesting how many ex-Catholics are drawn to Wicca? Especially interesting in light of Christianity appropriating pagan holidays. But I suppose I shouldn't open up that discussion - best to stay away from hardcore discussions of politics, religion and folk dancing. ;-) No hardcore discussion here; I'm openminded. I accept that different people need different things from religion; all paths lead to the center. If this conversation is offensive to anyone here, I apologize. I have no desire to hurt anyone's feelings. I do agree with your first statement; we joke that Catholicism is the gateway to the Craft. Rather than the holidays, I think it has more to do with Mary. Mary, and midnight mass by candlelight: those were my favorite parts of being Catholic. Is it any wonder I became a Witch? :lol:

I'm a lapsed pagan myself. My non-existent children will probably convert to Greek Orthodox just to screw with my mind.

I was just at that other site, and suddenly it turned yellow with "The Bachelor" at the top. Needless to say, I spazzed a little until I realized it was a glitch of some sort. And incidentally? The poll on the FOX page completely cracked me up today.

Just wanted to thank everyone here for the, well, for the spirit of this forum, which has elevated my spirits over the last couple of days when they've really needed it. Sometimes, you just need a distraction, and this is quite a nice one.

We're happy we were able to distract you and make you feel a bit better. HHoW has definitely been my happy place as well. Hope things are going a bit more your way now. x

Whee! Mom and I made a deal. If I do 1 hour of living room cleaning, I get to spend the rest of the night on HHoW without her complainging about it.

Back from today! 7 1/2 hours of opening bills, posting to A/P (Accounts Payable), and stapling Invoices to different statements. I can't believe I get paid $11 for this...

Has anybody recieved a pm over at the pit of voles from somebody named EllaBella##? She sent me a pm asking me to join her TV site called Tubealicious, (or something like that) where they talk about a lot of TV shows, including House. Am I the only one to get the PM?
