Thank you, all of you! You're such a nice group of outcasts. ;) Congrats Aithlyn. If you don't mind my asking, what denomination? Pagan. :D It's not an Internet one; I did that many years ago. (Universal Life Church, where everyone and anyone is clergy.) This is a recognized, formal church body here in Massachusetts.

Congrats as well Aithlyn - I just saw the news and your post and that's incredibly awesome! I studied different religions in college and was absolutely fascinated by, and adopted many beliefs of, paganism. Congrats!

aithlyn- 09-13-2007

Thanks, Arizona! I have been a Witch since I was about 12 years old. (That's when I left the Catholic church in a huff. *wink*)

JenButterfly- 09-13-2007

Yeah, congrats Aithlyn. OK, I start my internship tomorrow, wish me luck you guys!

Hail the Random- 09-13-2007

You know what would be cool? There was a House spoiler site I used to go on(until I found out about the Chase/Cammy thing. Then I stopped.) and it would always say 'XXXX on the Other Place boards posted: Blah blah blah. Well, what if one day, I went there and it said XXXX at House's House of Whining posted: ? Wouldn't that be cool? (No answers needed. Long rambling, pointless posts are my specialty. :D)

Hibernia- 09-14-2007

Hey Hail, that would be cool indeed! Jen, good luck *sends good vibes*!

cutiepatutti65- 09-14-2007

Good luck, Jen. Have a great day!

Aithlyn - Isn't it interesting how many ex-Catholics are drawn to Wicca? Especially interesting in light of Christianity appropriating pagan holidays. But I suppose I shouldn't open up that discussion - best to stay away from hardcore discussions of politics, religion and folk dancing. ;-) I'm like AZ, I've adopted alot of the practices into my life. My minor at uni was in anthropology with a concentration in world religions. As a lapsed Catholic myself, it was very interesting to study other traditions. Good luck today, JenB!

sasmom, I wish I could say I surprised, but I'm not unfortunately in light of the state of affairs over there, but welcome to the fold here. I've put up a post in response to your s3 analysis, so looking forward to the in-depth discussion carrying on here with you, jj & others.

I had a dream where I was banned from Other Place. (for something really rediculous, like when RSH was banned) And then I just sort of went: รด_o Oh, and there hasn't been a post on the Hoyay thread at Other Place in over a week!

Jouse- 09-14-2007

Oh, and there hasn't been a post on the Hoyay thread at Other Place in over a week! See, I know it's stupid, but that breaks my heart a little. I loved that thread

radiosweetheart- 09-14-2007

But now you have us. And we went to the Made of Win Academy and Majored in Rocking and Awesome and graduated Magna Cum Spectacular. No other place can say that.

fffaw- 09-14-2007

I loved that thread Me too, but cheer up, most of us are here anyhow! :-) ETA: Yeah! What RSH said!
