You've been banned? Geez, sasmom, I've always thought of you as a model of civility. Well, at least we can all share the "pain" of our banishments together over here, as well as to work to make sure the level of discourse is up to the standard set by the earlier board. Shouldn't be too hard, since all it takes is liberal moderation and intelligent posters, which we clearly have.

I thought I was being reasonable in a discussion of the spoilers (won't say what they were) and people deciding without even seeing the episode that they wouldn't watch because of the spoilers and were no longer watching the show. I expressed my dismay and confusion that fans (who are fans enough to post on message boards) of a show would do that based on what someone else has said. I really don't understand that (because maybe I'm dense) so I made that comment along with other very on-topic comments, and I must've got booted off for boards on boards or something (or being snarky--which I wasnt') but oh, well, like you all said, I've joined the club! Thanks for your support

Congratulations, Aithlyn!!! I was ordained last summer and joined my sister and her husband in matrimony. Last month I hooked up some friends of mine. :)

Congratulations Aithlyn and Sasmom. I do find it humorous that another site's media thread will have weekly links to episode reviews by someone who is not welcome to post there. But the irony would probably be lost of the staff who aren't familiar enough with the show to know about Sasmom's alter ego. (And, unlike the old days, the hyperlinks next to banned people's names are still active and they're on the list of members. That definitely keeps the posts looking more cheerful than they would if half the names were black and linkless.) I've got one warning but I probably won't get any more as I haven't posted anything in the House forum for 2 weeks (except my votes in the episode ranking game and that's over.)
