Wait - Vertical planes. Do they have to be perfectly up and down? Can they be slightly angled? Because, if so, you could have a three-sided pyramid.

OK ok ok ok....so in English I was given the assignment to write a found poem. A found poem is when you take something you hear and rearrange the words to create a poem. I did one of a differential Diagnosis session. Who wants to hear it?

OK, so the poem was going to be an ode to all the times it wasn't Lupus. But, if you've ever had experience with a muse, you'll know they can take you places you've never imagined. Mine made me write a poem about it actually being Lupus (I know, you're all shocked). First, the dialog I stole the words from to make the poem. All comes from Clueless.
House: To complete the second half of the caffeine delivery system. Either talk loud or get in here. Same color going out as going in – think that’s a marketing thing?
Foreman: Lupus could cause lung scarring and a rash.
Chase: Or it could still be a food allergy.
~~~
Foreman: Lupus could cause –
House: No. Lupus progresses slower, there’d be joint pain.
Foreman: So it’s not a typical case! We should get an ANA –
House: It’s not lupus! The symptoms don’t match.
~~~
Cameron: I am not going to accuse a woman of trying to murder her husband simply based on some paranoid theory.
House: It’s the only explanation. We’ve eliminated every other possibility.
Cameron: We have not eliminated every other possibility!
House: Has he responded to the la-*test*-('") lupus treatment?
Cameron: He’s only been on it for a few hours.
House: He hasn’t responded because it’s not lupus! It’s not allergies, ALS, arthritis or sarcoidosis. She’s all that’s left.
~~~
And now, I give you... It's Lupus It's Lupus By JenButterfly
It progresses slower,
There’d be joint pain.
It can cause lung scarring
It can cause a rash.
The symptoms eliminated,
the only explanation
It’s lupus
It’s not allergies or ALS
It’s not arthritis or Sarcoidosis
It’s all that is left
It’s lupus.
Good job, I like it! It's refreshing it's finally lupus!
RNwannabe- 09-12-2007
Wow, Jen, that poem was haunting. I liked it!
JenButterfly- 09-12-2007
Thanks for the compliments, from all of you. I'm half debating putting it up on ff.net. I can post it as a poem. What do you guys think?
But I'm wondering what the heck you mean by haunting, RNwannabe. Was the poem scary?
RNwannabe- 09-12-2007
haunting:
Difficult to forget; frequently occuring to memory; a haunting melody.
How could I ever forget the time it was Lupus!! :wink:
JenButterfly- 09-12-2007
Oh, I thought you meant haunting as in...
Haunting: Really scary, terrifying.
EX: Oh my God! It really -WAS- Lupus!? Next you'll tell me the sky is falling!! *hides in bunker*
But I guess either works well.
