I saw a lot of really crazy shit because I had an ~ 104 degree fever and hallucinations. This might be the best way to survive a graduation ceremony :) All you Dutch football fans - Russia looked mighty good versus Sweden... they should put up a good fight...

All you Dutch football fans - Russia looked mighty good versus Sweden... they should put up a good fight... They needed a Dutch coach to make them look that good ;) I'm still bitter that he's not coaching the national team. This is all kinds of weird and creepy

Oh, yeah. Hiddink's a miracle worker. I don't think I'll be going to a Vancouver beach this summer :)

cindylouwho-we should hang out. I saw REM for HS graduation and Black 47 for undergrad. And for grad school I saw a lot of really crazy shit because I had an ~ 104 degree fever and hallucinations. The speaker for that graduation was a flaming pony...in my mind! That sounds like my entire freshman year experience!

My graduation speaker was Tim Russert. WAH! Did anyone see the coverage on CNN yesterday? It was like a state funeral.

Sorry, Marykir, no Portugal in the final.

marykir- 06-19-2008

I know, I watched the match. They were getting pushed all over the pitch by the Germans.

Amazingly, I'm currently second in the European-Soccer-Championships-Betting-Pool at work!

galaxygirl- 06-20-2008

Go you Hibs!!

marykir- 06-20-2008

Wow! Turkey just do not know when they're beaten. And there's a team even worse at penalties than England or the Netherlands...Croatia. Germany v. Turkey should be interesting, in the stands and the crowds outside the stadium if not on the pitch...

galaxygirl- 06-20-2008

What a crazy game, jeeze. I hope things can stay civil and fun in Germany, amongst the crowds outside the stadium and on the pitch. Just heard that Turkey will miss 4 players with suspensions next match. Which idiot thought it would be a great idea to have Sherri Shepherd as co-host of the Daytime Emmy's. 15 minutes in and I already want Seacrest back.

marykir- 06-20-2008

I thought there were tensions in Germany with all the Turkish immigrants? Or is that some other European country I'm thinking of?

lepo- 06-21-2008

no, there none tensions between german and turkish immigrants. maybe after the match
