Sasmom, you're most welcome here always 8) (& folks who haven't see it yet may want to head on over to our spoilers discussion thread, the promo chat is in full-speed on the analysis of all the screencaps courtesy of Marykir, nd the Wilson fans really need to see them).

LALALA I AM FINALLY GETTING AHEAD WITH MY CAREER LALALA romanshoes, I wish you all the luck in the world and hope that life treats you well. Never lose that joy. I am a bitter, bitter person. Everything means less than zero. I find it nearly impossible to imagine what it must have been like to have dreams that hadn't been crushed by the reality's cruel sledgehammer. *this comment would actually be pretty hilarious if I was saying it out loud. I promise.

GG, ok, I'll stop...but one more hammering and I'll be making voodoo dolls. *sigh* I want a Klinsman. sasmom, couldn't agree more. I've gone into hiding over there. It reminds me of the utter implosion of the old West Wing forum.

Dude! You guys and gals!!!!! I just saw the awesomest movie today!!!! The Bourne Ultimatium. IT ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, I just felt the need to share how awesome it was. And as for you, Samson, I fought the power once with DIY Sheep and Alex, and believe me when I say nothing feels greater than to send those controlling bureaucrats into a tizzy over the smallest of things. It's nice to know that they are so anal in a way that gives us so much power. I mean, yes we can't do much there, but just knowing that they easily get annoyed makes it all the more fun to do so. Quick question. How many people here have been banned but created a new account to get back in to TWOP? I was banned but never did. When it happened to me I thought "Hell I don't need this place, like hell they'll see me come back under a new screen name."

RNwannabe- 08-15-2007

I didn't get banned, just warned a few times. I thought about doing something unacceptable to get banned, then get a new screen name to do it again, but in the end I decided it just wasn't worth my time. I like it better here, anyway.

A Brief Announcement THE NOODLE PUNK IS UP AND RUNNING!!! Noodle Punk is my husband's nickname for our motor scooter after teh little scooters in GTA Vice City. We drove the unassembled bike from the Beach to Suffolk and got it put together. We have been spending the last hour or so getting used to it. I forgot how unweidly bikes can be. I need to work on my handling before I really take it out on the road. But I am happy it is up and running.

They messed with my post, removed it, and I wrote to the mod explaining why i did what I did, she was insanely bitchy to me; and when I rebelled on another thread, simply by donig what the mods want (which, in itself, is insane and will create problems vis a vis spoilers) I got an official warning. So it's 5 notes and 1 warning since august 1

TrooperCam- 08-15-2007

Daaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmnnnnnn I got two notes since Darth took over. All for stupid stuff that normally would have slid by...you know like being snarky...apparently thats board on board talking. Sit a spell here sas, we are happy to have you

Pull up a seat, sasmom, (pull up a keyboard?), have a drink & relax

Taiga- 08-15-2007

I just saw the awesomest movie today!!!! The Bourne Ultimatium. IT ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw it last week. I haven't seen the first two or read the books, so I think the ending was kind of lost on me...(spoilerbarred for those who haven't seen it)I'd just assumed that he'd volunteered for this "training" and was surprised to learn that THAT was supposed to be a big shock.

sweet fern- 08-15-2007

Well that's just plain weird sasmom. I assumed it was only people who agreed with me who got in trouble. Paranoid? Who me? :) Seriously, I can't help being curious as to exactly what is going on there. Why all this new sheriff in town cleaning out the "scum"? Why are they doing it? Did they buy the place because it was great and successful (which begs the question, then why screw with it? ain't broke/don't fix) or are they some kind of thought police who are using the power of the buck to cleanse the internet of the evil wickedness of intelligence and free speech by destroying that site? Does anybody know? From what I hear, it's not just the House forum. This much "housecleaning" can't just be overzealousness, can it? It must be what they intended to do once they took control. I would also love to know how many long-time posters have been banned or at least noted and warned when they never had before and how many are leaving in droves because it's just not worth it any more.... :? And I'd love to be fly on the wall at their planning and strategy meetings....

Silja- 08-15-2007

I was banned, sporked and driven from the boards many, many times back when I still posted in the West Wing threads. Then I sought refuge in the Trek forum, which had (and has, I think) a really cool moderator. It turns out the trick is to get to Couch Potato -- or was. Stalin seems to ban indiscriminately which I suppose is a better way than assuming people with many posts are capable of patrolling themselves. Ah, crap. I just defended the Dictator, didn't I?

Taiga- 08-15-2007

Well, I've been on TWoP since 2003 and didn't have any notes or warnings until recently - now I have two. How sad that Jesse Spencer and Jennifor Morrison have called off their engagement. It's always sad when that happens, but I wonder if that will make it hard for them to work together. Especially if their characters are still a couple on the show.

JenButterfly- 08-15-2007

Dude, where did you hear of this engagement news? And yeah, the third movie is -soooo- much awesomer if you watch the first two.
