Hmm, I saw Taking Back Sunday when they were supporting Lost Prophets. Hilarious, because they started making all these American pop culture references that I'm pretty sure only 5 people in the whole Wembley Arena audience understood. My best friend kind of looked at me and I just patted her on the head. And I'm once again going to voice my anger with every single person connected to TV in anyway in the UK, because I cannot for the life of me understand why they don't show The Colbert Report here. Blah.

Why do Spurs suck? They've sucked ever since the glorious 1991 FA Cup victory as far as I can recall (fades into nostalgia for the days of Terry Venables, Gazza, Lineker etc... I had posters of Waddle & Hoddle on my walls when I was thirteen...) I'm from a Spurs supporting family - my brother is a season ticket holder though I just look for the results each week. When I can bear it. I'm sure that was all splendidly comprehensible to everyone on this board...

I'm Dutch, even after two years in the US I still check the Dutch soccer results every week, curse the manager of the national team(he's an idiot) and am cautiously optimistic about what the new season might bring my team Feyenoord Rotterdam.

Hi, all! Can I scream (quietly) about the TWOP mods...facists...vaders...whoever they are. I got a post taken off the spoiler discussion thread because it mentioned a spoiler from the promo that aired last night. As I quietly explained in my pm back to the mod, some people do not like to even know the bits that are in the previews and want to be surprised. So the result of her decision (not my post -- someone else's) was that another poster took her spoiler disc. post and put it in the non-spoiler discussion but put spoiler bars on the spoiled part. Yikes. So,, rebel that I am (and trying to make a point) I replied to her moved post, but took the spoiler bars off the (according to the mod) non-spoiler spoiler. If the new mods should learn anything about House fans, it's that we (like the hero of the show) are a bunch of rebellious iconoclasts! At least I am. Sorry for the rant, but it's like the third or fourth PM/warning I've gotten from a mod in the las tmonth.

For some reason I work out much better when there is sports on. When the Champions League starts, I'll always try to work out when ESPN airs games. It's rare enough that ESPN actually airs soccer I'm interested in lol. It turns out that House isn't the only one of my shows that have casting changes, Boston Legal has a bunch of changes, some good(more Jerry yay), some bad(no more Paul, booo hiss). Numb3rs has a cool director and a cool guest star in it's season opener and Criminal Minds has hired a great actor to replace Mandy Patinkin. There is even a rumor floating around that Gary Oldman might play a villian in a sow this season, very unlikely, but still fun to think about. I also have to go into work tonight at 11pm, which means I have to try to get some sleep in between now and 11. I don't see it happen yet. Gary Oldman on a House Board! ~~dies~~ GO is my god.
