Yeah, ABC is doing an American version of "Life on Mars" for the midseason, and CBS is doing an American version of "Blackpool." Meanwhile, I think Fox has some ripoff of "Torchwood" going for it this season. I love it when us Yanks lose all originality and need to copy the BBC/ITV.

LIFE ON MARS
I love the fact that all the Yanks (Americans, yanks, septic tanks - got a lot to do with WWII) are discovering Life on Mars and the fact that the dweeby guy plays the Master on Doctor Who (and when you play the Master you are dead hot).
Go Russell T Davies!

Anybody see that ad for that new NBC show Journeyman?
All about a guy traveling through time putting right what once went wrong...that sounds awfully familiar.
Oh, I remember, there was a little show called Quantum Leap ! Maybe I'm the only person that remembers it. Grrr....
Sheep! How can you use the word 'dweeby' to describe John Simm? He's the sexxors. Oh yes, he is.
TrooperCam- 08-14-2007
But what about Ghost Chimp MD Troops? I love Craig. Why can't we have him here.... WHYYYYY?
HA. Ghost Chimp Doctor. In Japan Craig comes on at 730AM, so I will be in the gym and laughing as I watch the show. It almost makes being up and at the gym at 730 worth it.

The thing with John Simm is that you look at him once and you kind of go, "Oh." And then you look at him again and go, "Wow."
Or maybe that's just me. ;) And yes, DIY Sheep, when he plays the Master he is automatically hawt.
(Says the girl who could, quite possibly, be listening to "I Can't Decide" by the Scissor Sisters at the moment.)

Man, it may have worked for the Office, but those American TV stations have to start leaving our TV shows alone *g*
And I'm chiming in with the John Simm love. And yeah, the Master may be insane, but he's definitely hot.
EDIT: 100 members. W00t!

I used to work out while watching Frasier. I had to stop because this can be dangerous if you are trying to hold up a rather large barbell, tart laughing and then choke yourself with sixty pounds - yes I have an antique Weider.

So much love from me for mentioning Frasier, Sheep. It's the perfect sitcom imo. I used to go to the gym at the same time Springer was on, now that was great entertainment while running a few miles.

Colbert Report is good for gym sessions as well.

You go to a lot more fun gym than I do - baseball, baseball, golf & ESPN. Bleh!
Anyone a Heros addict? Mucho cool new spoiler at tvguide.com

Man - when I go to the gym, there's never anything on. It's a shame, because interesting things on the screen keep me going. Frasier, Colbert and Springer would all most definitely stop me from getting bored.
And I love Heroes. It's great, because it just started on the BBC, so now everyone round here is feeling the love as well. I think my S1 DVD should be shipped soon, as well...w00t.

For some reason I work out much better when there is sports on. When the Champions League starts, I'll always try to work out when ESPN airs games. It's rare enough that ESPN actually airs soccer I'm interested in lol.
It turns out that House isn't the only one of my shows that have casting changes, Boston Legal has a bunch of changes, some good(more Jerry yay), some bad(no more Paul, booo hiss). Numb3rs has a cool director and a cool guest star in it's season opener and Criminal Minds has hired a great actor to replace Mandy Patinkin. There is even a rumor floating around that Gary Oldman might play a villian in a sow this season, very unlikely, but still fun to think about.
I also have to go into work tonight at 11pm, which means I have to try to get some sleep in between now and 11. I don't see it happen yet.

It turns out that MO was having a bit of a bad day and all is well. Which is nice.
Oh good, I was worried. Hope things are better today MO.
Gary Oldman might play a villian in a sow this seasonI had to read your post three times before I understood what you meant by that. Life is more fun without spellcheck!

Well, it is cool sometimes and sucks at others. Remember that I have AFN programming, no cable, no satellite., So in the morning we get the ESPN recaps from the day before so it is very sports heavy. Craig is the only thing on at that time because morning in Japan/Korea is evening in Europe and the AFN Atlantic channel is showing evening program. At night it is reversed and we get a lot of the evening programing from the States, Colbert Report, Jon Stewert, ER, House etc. So it depends on what time of day you go and what shows you get.
I just got back from Project Revolution. Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday. It was pretty cool. I had to leave before LP finished because the air was getting a little too heavy with perfume...and I will probably have a drug -*test*-('") when I get to Korea. Don't feel like arriving and have to explain a contact high.
