Woo Hoo! Anyone in Ann Arbor can come by for a party at my place. I even have a high def TV now. Unfortunately, guess when the high def cable connection is installed? Tomorrow.

Isn't it wonderful now that the Superbowl is on FOX we have to sit through the most recent Idol winner singing the National Anthem instead of an actual known artist like last year(Billy Joel)

As long as she's in tune and doesn't get too "artistic", who cares? She sounded fine in the tiny bit of rehearsal on the news yesterday. Fox had a SB party last night, so if anyone could find pictures that might give a clue whether anyone from House was in town. All I saw on the first Fox news program was a few seconds about Unhitched.

With the way things are going, I'm sure Jesse and Jen both got one ticket to share between them and the seat is out by the bathrooms on the uppermost deck. I wonder if that puts them in a mood to party down with Fox.

Hugh is listed at the top of the pre-game show as an "expected appearance."

OK, the opening credits for the pre-game show said Hugh will appear. ETA: Oh. Oh. You beat me by one second.

Boffle- 02-03-2008

Well, Fox mucked up the Emmys pretty thoroughly so why should they do a good job at the SB? In the evening with Emmy cast/producers interview, Paul Attanasio made the excellent point that there are two Foxes in terms of programming: smart Fox (House, 24, Simpsons) and dumb Fox (5th grader, ad nauseum). If only the wiser heads would sometimes prevail...

isn't it wonderful now that the Superbowl is on FOX we have to sit through the most recent Idol winner singing the National Anthem Plus a very special performance by our good friend, Paula Abdul (per Seacrest a minute ago). And I'll be surprised if Tom Petty can top last year's performance by Prince (okay, so why am I watching this? :(

Oh, forgot about that very special performance by Paula, I heard it's with Randy Jackson, so more Idol pimping because that show needs that oh, so much
