House is not Seinfeld's 'boy in the bubble'. There are many wonderful sites out there and here is the place to pimp them. Here you will find a list (no dicussion please - or at least keep it to a dull roar) of sites that you, as a discerning House fan, enjoy. This means that other discerning House fans can also enjoy the variety that comes with House. Just tell us why you like the site you are recommending. That jiggles my tiddles. I'm gonna do Housefic_meta as an example because this is a place that loves to talk really in depth fan fiction. They also have the House Hall of Fame, nitpick the heck out of stories and talk about characters. If you want some serious conversation about House go here. But be aware that they are serious and adopt the appropriate tone. You can also browse through their HOF and see some excellent fan fiction - for every persuasion and ship. Alex, they of the PLOT device, has decided to become creative and has started 'the House quilt project'. Basically this is one of those strange things that culminates in creativity and something being sent around the world three times. Alex wants to get people to each make a House themed square of a quilt and then it will be sent to House MD central. I'm hoping that it might be sold off for charity because Hugh would probably like that, but if it just keeps Hugh warm at night I'm sure many people would be okay with that too. Now we all know that some times fan fiction can go a bit astray. I have been guilty of the clattering cane on the carpeted floor of his office. I'm not sure how I managed that. Most people are oggling Hugh or RSL and there I am checking out the furnishings. I can spot a continuity error at ten paces and there was even an entire episode deicaded to carpet. So in honour of all the really bad Mary Sue neices, long lost daughters, tragic car accidents, unexplained seizures, etc we have House_MST. This makes bad fic look good: HouseficMST House Mystery Science Theatre. The bad fan fiction needs to be seen to be believed.

It's unlikely that any House fan who finds his or her way here won't know about these, but... house_daily Dedicated to images of the cast and characters housefic house_wilson The main two places I trawl for fic to read clinic_duty Transcripts of the episodes. These aren't official scripts, just the product of fans with overworked rewind buttons. Typos and mis-heard words abound (including on the ones I transcribed). So don't take them as gospel. But they are a good starting point. Television Transcripts Database HWShipper pointed the way to another version of the transcripts. ETA: They aren't another version of the transcripts. TVTDB is using the clinic_duty ones and clinic_duty is still betaing and fixing theirs, so I'd assume theirs are in better shape.

It's an aquired taste, but fun.

http://community.livejournal.com/house_md_news/ This lj site is incredibly useful - they scan the House-relevant comms everyday & post a summary of all the spoilers, fic (with authors, pairings & rating), icons, videos, comics & everything else House-relevant on lj in one daily handy-dandy update. Which they will email you (or you can use the stalker pin messaging method).

They are a bit rouch and tumble, but Pirate Eggie (of Howse MD) and I Heart Cameron (who started it) are good folks and as long as you squint and hit a thread you will find some real gems there. Hituh is particularly good when it comes to spoof videos.
