Everybody who observes Yom Kippoer: best wishes for a meaningful day!
Sherlock21b, I hope all goes well! Feel better...
Yom Kippur doesn't start until sundown, but thank you. It's really all day Saturday.
Yes, have a good and meaningful Yom Kippur. And good luck Sherlock21b
In the meantime I'll be on call all weekend...in A&E...Cod help us all.
My mind immediately went to the U.S. cable channel, but I doubt she's on call at Arts & Entertainment.
Have a good Yom Kippur all. And sherlock, have a successful surgery and a very speedy recovery.
Tee hee. Accident & Emergency in the UK (ER in the US).
Makes a change to be explaining this way round for once!
La ti da.
Soccer game tomorrow and babysitting on Sun.
Have to read The Diary of Anne Frank.
One of the best books I've ever read HTR. My parents gave it to mr GG for his birthday. It hits close because I'm from the country she lived in during the war.
We read the 8th grade play version, and then my teacher passed them out and told us to do a 2 page report on them.
I tihnk I shall read the book in the first few days, post here while outlining, and then write the report in the last week. Procrastinating without procrastinating too badly. :D
EDIT: Soccer game got cancled due to rain, so I am going to read and then confince my dad to take me out to the Public Market* for crepes.
*The Public Market isn't actaully a market. It's just this big place with about 20 different kinds of food. French, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, American, you name it, they have it. They also have a Border's Books attatched, and parts of the neon sign don't work so it ends up being "DER'S OKS & MUSIC". :)
It'll be hard for y'all, I am sure, but I'm going to be a limited presence here for the next couple of days as I am going out of town!
Yay! Shakin' the dust of this crummy little major metropolitan city and seeing a similarly sized city in Southern Ohio!
George Bailey would be thrilled.
I should be finishing packing.
*shameless plug*
If anyone happens to be near a radio tomorrow between 5-7 central time you could do worse than tune into
Prairie Home Companion.
Martin Sheen, Nick Lowe (who wrote "(What's so Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding" among a bunch of other awesome songs) and my good buddies and generally awesome people
BR549 are the guests. It should be a good show.
*shameless plug*
but, but, what are we going to do without you RSH??

Have fun in Southern Ohio!!
It'll be quiet over here RSH!! Have fun, though...
Have fun RSH! Take pictures!(or something...:D)
I shall be going to The Starving Musician today. Might not be back for a few hours. ;).
Have fun, RSH & HTR!
For those fasting, Ramadan kareem!
Posting here so I don't forget...
I'm leaving on vacation - my first in a very long time - first thing tomorrow morning and won't be back until late Sunday. I'm sure you'll manage to muddle along without me
