Good luck with the move cindylouwho, moving sucks ass. Thanks. Although it was just an excuse to post in this thread. I love the title. :)

Why thank-you *bows* (I'm the thread titler, me) Though I'd still like the second part of it to have been Real Life kicks us in the nads

I'll be away for at least 5 days and maybe even 8... I won't have access to Internet (talk about detox...), I'll miss this forum!

Hail the Random- 08-31-2007

Wh-hoo! I survived the babysitting! No one died!(Although Lucy got a bloody nose) Anyways, I won't be on for more than 3 minutes at a time for the next 3 days–enjoying the last bit of summer.

Hibernia- 09-06-2007

I'll be away for two whole days again! I'll be back Saturday afternoon or evening.

Bye you guys! I should mention that I'm back and here to stay. Of course, now I've started school again and there's the whole A Level mess to sort out, but whatever. I'm here. For six weeks, anyway - then I go off on holiday again.

Hi, everyone. Does anyone out there know the city center in Frankfurt, Germany at all? I've got a free afternoon there on Monday with nothing to do until I meet a friend at 4 pm at the City Hall, and the museums (my normal refuge) all seem to be closed on Mondays. Any suggestions? I've never been there before and want to take advantage of the opportunity to do something cool -- like eating something delicious for lunch, finding some neat art galleries, looking at cool clothes, etc. Thanks in advance!

saara_zaara- 09-07-2007

Its been some years since I've been in Frankfurt, but if the Goethe museum is closed I'd rec either seeing the cathedral (or any of the historic churches) or taking a trip on the river if there's time. If there isn't time, the river promenade (the Mainpromenade) is a fun place to hang out. And then find the best konditori you can for cake & coffee :P

jj1963- 09-07-2007

Thanks, saara zaara! I'd completely neglected the idea of visiting the cathedral... ooops!

Hi guys, I'm off on holiday later today, to Norway. I assume Norway has the interweb  but I don't anticipate being able to access it between fjords. :ship: So I look forward to an entire week's worth of reading HHOW when I'm back on 18th Sept.

TrooperCam- 09-09-2007

Norway...a place I don't have a magnet or keychain from :) Have fun on the trip and stay safe

Hibernia- 09-09-2007

Have a great time in Norway :fishy: hwshipper!

I have to go to a play today. (Shut up, it's with my parents) So, I will see you randomly during the day.

radiosweetheart- 09-09-2007

I have to go to a play today. (Shut up, it's with my parents) And that would be a cause for derision, why? The theatre is fantastic. Unless it's a production of High School Musical. Or a community theatre production of just about anything. Then it's best to lie about how you spent your day.
