I missed that area when I was there. The most time I spent in Colorado was doing a one-week bike tour called Ride the Rockies, which went from Cortez to Golden. We swung through the passes east of Gunnison, through Alamosa and Salida.
(Which reminds me of my favorite name for a bicycle tour -- not that I'd ever do it, mind you -- the one day ride that takes in the Squaw, Loveland and Vail passes, called the Triple Bypass.)

Have to go visit the family in Orange County - arriving back in NY Tuesday evening 5:30 - so hope I make it home in time for # 3 of Season 5. I'll be all anxious the entire flight back. (and one thing I'll be missing is much of an opportunity to connect with HHoW, while away).

Was touched by your message, ffaw. And yes, I had a good time with the family and the one day I was in Los Angeles, I kept thinking how I was breathing the same air that Mr. Laurie was also breathing, and seeing the same patch of sky as he was seeing (if he had a moment to look outside). My plane landed ahead of schedule and I was able to get back to my apartment in record time from the airport - had time to make dinner and unpack before settling down to Episode Three. Good trip!!
