I'm afraid, I too, believe that TPTB have forgotten about LLB. I want to be wrong though, I want so badly to be proven wrong. I think it's possible for House and Wilson to have known each other for twenty years and Wilson to have never spoken of his brother. Afterall Wilson is secretive and very good at keeping secrets. I think it's possible too, especially if LLB is older than Wilson and already out of the house and all that. House may have met Wilson's parents and other brother but I doubt that they're extremely close, they wouldn't tell him anything. And we all know that when Wilson doesn't want House to know something, House doesn't know, at least for a while.

I went to grad school with a woman who had passed off her adult daughter and teenage son as her siblings for years. Even her husband didn't know before he married her that she had two out of wedlock children. She was 13 years older than her daughter and seventeen years older than her son OT, but my cousin AFAIK has not yet told his wife and the mother of his two children that he has a daughter from a previous relationship. The entire family knows, though.

That is so desperately irresponsible...Hopefully, TV characters can set an example?

The entire family knows, though. I had a great aunt who many many moons ago faked her way though an entire pregnancy to make my great uncle marry her, even her very religious mother helped her fake it. Faked it all the way to the end. My grandmother uncovered most of it because she was actually pregnant at the same time and was asking questions. My mother doesn't know how the whole thing played out in the end but I do know that they remained married until my great uncle died. My family is quite messed up.

I hate to make double posts but I thought this warranted one. Savemoony made this interesting post on LJ about how she thinks H/W are already having sex. And I have to say, it sounds logic to me. Also have to say that the thought has crossed my mind, they both seem happier this season, except for the whole sticking a knife in a light socket thing that is.

LightMyCandle- 11-01-2007

I just read that, it was very logical. There is definately a change in attitude and Wilson's definately more secure. Skeptics will tell me it's because of the ADs but it's really because they're having sex.

It's nice, it's sort of "These are the facts. This is what could happen. This is why." Instead of "This happens. (why?) Uh..." Thanks, Geege!

Savemoony's analysis is excellent.

I know I'm late to the table here, but I just had to say: Loved Wilson SO MUCH in Mirror, Mirror. Secure. Confident. Knows he's got his man well under control---and I say "his man" because whether or not they ARE in fact already having sex, House is very clearly Wilson's Man. I think it's obvious enough that Wilson wouldn't even NEED proof of House's interest in a sexual sense in order to make a declaration like "I am in charge of our relationship." Sex or no sex, Wilson really and truly HAS House on a level that no one else does. And Wilson finally knows it, too, which is what has made their scenes together this season so much FUN! *heeheehee*

Sex or no sex, Wilson really and truly HAS House on a level that no one else does. Ain't it the truth? :D He's got House wrapped around his finger, House can't stay away from him and is clearly not going anywhere and maybe Wilson is finally secure in that fact. I wonder if someone asked him now if House cared about him, if he would say yes, like in the pilot. Last year he seemed pretty convinced that House didn't care, now he's confident enough to believe that House would pick up his laundry if he asked him to. Hey, the man is opening doors for him.

I love this talk, you guys. :D It puts this season into an entirely new perspective for me. On a different note, I was re-watching Top Secret tonight, and was hit by this exchange: CAMERON: Were we... walking you to the bathroom? HOUSE: I wish. Wilson was just in there. These guys know what I'm talking about. Was House insinuating what I think he was insinuating?!

SaphronGirl- 11-01-2007

How did on EARTH did I miss that innuendo???!!! I know, right? Isn't he implying that Wilson turns tricks in the boy's room...?

onspeeeed- 11-01-2007

I know, right? Isn't he implying that Wilson turns tricks in the boy's room...? Or at the very least that he and Wilson have an "arrangement" where overlapping men's room time is concerned!

Taiga- 11-01-2007

There was discussion of that but I think it was toilet humour... House implying that Wilson's BMs are stinky. but still think that Hector was a wrong "casting" for the role and was chosen just because his good looks! There was an article about the shooting of that episode and it talked about how they chose the dog, it said that Hector was described in the script as an "aging, decrepit mutt". So he really was supposed to be 17 years old.
