Hail the Random- 10-30-2007

Isn't tonight 4.05 and a supposed H/W episode?

DrSpaceman- 10-30-2007

Maybe House isn't hacking into Wilson's therapy files because, unlike Stacy, he thinks that there's nothing in there about him and that's all he cares about. I think House has to know Wilson talks about him in therapy. As to why he wouldn't break into Wilson's therapy files (leaving aside the possibility Wilson doesn't see a doctor at PPTH, which I think must be true because he's not an idiot and knows House broke into Stacy's file), I can see several reasons: -I don't know if House really loved Stacy when he broke into her file. Maybe a part of him still loved her but he was more obsessed with her, angry at her, bitter, etc. He was damaged by her behavior and thrown for a loop when she returned, and I think desperately wanted to gain the upper hand by whatever means necessary. She betrayed him with the infarction, then returned and still had a control over him because he still had feelings for her. He was desperate to try and get some sort of control back because his feelings were running rampant. -House, despite his insistence to the contrary, was still unsure that Stacy had any feelings for him. He needed that confirmed. I don't doubt that House knows Wilson cares for him. Which ties into: -House knew that Stacy would be angry at him and rant as such to her therapist. There's nothing in there he would be surprised at, I don't think. Whereas I think House would, indeed, actually be hurt if he saw Wilson saying anything negative to his therapist. I think House has been shown to feel at least some guilt at how Wilson has sacrificed for him. I think Wilson may be the ONLY person in House's life who has ever shown that willingness. House knows that Wilson was willing to give up his job - twice - for House's sake. He knows Wilson was willing to give up his career, his car - everything in his life basically during the Tritter arc. Even before the confrontation with Bonnie, I think House knew he had a hand in the demise of Wilson's marriages. House knew Wilson was willing make the ultimate sacrifice (sans death) and go jail for him. So Stacy was mad, that's okay - House was mad at her, too. She wasn't willing to sacrifice for House so he's not really concerned if she feels angry because it's never going to be justified anger in his mind. But if Wilson is angry at him (on a deep-seated level) I think that makes House scared. House loves Wilson (at the very least as a friend) and I think he's scared he might actually be the source of Wilson's depression.

I have to take a moment and squee about the tonight's House/Wilson scenes. Wilson said relationship not friendship. Just had to stop a moment and do the hoyay dance.

reven- 10-30-2007

Oh yeah idon, you're right. He did, didn't he. Subtle little thing, but still: yay! :)

Jouse- 10-31-2007

I'll do the HoYay dance after I'll stop freaking out about the downhill quality of eppies as of late  Meanwhile - Here's the missing episode some of you were looking for ;)

Hibernia- 10-31-2007

Meanwhile - Here's the missing episode some of you were looking for ;) Aaaaaaaaaaaah this is wonderful! Thanks Jouse!

Jouse- 10-31-2007

My pleasure! And also, did you notice House's delighted smile when TPOTW started mirroring Wilson in the OR? ETA: One more semi-observation - after the 97 seconds ILU, we got an I hate you.

Hibernia- 10-31-2007

My pleasure! And also, did you notice House's delighted smile when TPOTW started mirroring Wilson in the OR? I'm one of those pathetic people that have to wait for some incredible sweet friend to send them the episodes on DVD after a few weeks, so, sadly, no, but I'll pay special attention when I get it!

Lully- 10-31-2007

Jouse, your reaction is making me nervous... "I hate you" ? WTF?????? But the Topaz fic?

Jouse- 10-31-2007

No no Lully, it's a joke "I hate you". That's how House responds to Wilson's bitch accusations ;)

Lully- 10-31-2007

*gives a great relief sigh* Thanks! I can see it as a joke :D Still the reactions I've been reading are so conflicting... Well, I'll have to wait and see...

I have to take a moment and squee about the tonight's House/Wilson scenes. Wilson said relationship not friendship. And, he pretty much held the door open for him. Wilson is the king. Oh, and I thought the "I hate you" was cute, I say it like that to my friends all the time.

House told us that Wilson didn't have any friends when he was growing up. Was House his first real friend? Damn, I wish they would give us some backstory on how they met. In wich episode House had said that, idonmatrix? I re-watch these days all seasons, but didn't find anything else like that? Or House said that in "Mirror, mirror", the epi I still hadn't watch yet:/ My long time theory is that house and Wilson know each other from their childhood. Remember the Son of coma guy and this story about the case with "rock-climbing" and "this kid" from the school that House was safe. Then I supposed that "this kid" was Wilson and when i wrote the cut scenes of the screenplay of Doris Egan i was definitely convinced that "this kid' was really Wilson. My theory was confirmed and from this: epi Histories season1 House: Yeah. I had some follow up questions. I’ve met your parents, and your brother – Doesn't that is meaning that House had met Wilson's parents couple of times? I think, that was not happend on celebrations like Wilson 3 weddings or Hanuka. My theory could be confirmed and from this: Wilson: House, you play a guitar you got in 9th grade. House: 8th. uf, i know this is too tiny, but for me is REAL clue:)

idonmatrix- 10-31-2007

The IHU is a sign of affection from House to Wilson. It has the same meaning as ILU. And when House said it Wilson didn't miss a beat. Also did anyone else notice that Wilson was not wearing a belt. I don't why I am obsessed with that little detail but I find it intriguing.

Then I supposed that "this kid" was Wilson and when i wrote the cut scenes of the screenplay of Doris Egan i was definitely convinced that "this kid' was really Wilson. Sorry, but "Histories" also indicates that they did not know each other as kids, since House didn't know that Wilson had another brother. If they'd known each other growing up, he would have known that. And in terms of the comment House makes about Wilson not having any friends growing up ... it's as part of a joking insult in "Needle In A Haystack" when he's pissed at Wilson. I don't think it can be taken seriously.
