As Wilson himself said in House vs. God, House wasn't upset that Wilson lied to him about the whole moving out thing, he was upset that he couldn't tell that he was lying. I think Wilson can lie pretty successfully to House most of the time, but he folds pretty fast once being called out on it, which I something I like.

DrSpaceman, I'm pretty sure that was the moment when House knew that Wilson had been dosing him. I think most of Wilson's lies to House -- at least the big ones -- are planned. And speed isn't conducive to effective lying/acting at the best of times.

Is Wilson the only person who can actually successfully lie to House? Yes! :D And it pleases me to no end. But why didn't Wilson jump on House when he was lying, all willing, on the couch today? :(

But why didn't Wilson jump on House when he was lying, all willing, on the couch today? :( Ummm maybe b/c he doesn't like the bitter taste of vicodin? And since House was sucking away on it . . . .maybe Wilson thought better of it? Just trying to think of some reational reason.....

DrSpaceman, I'm pretty sure that was the moment when House knew that Wilson had been dosing him. But then why not confront him at that point? I think he may have had an inkling then, but definitely the later moment in the patient's room (when he catches himself smiling) was when he realized. That scene was portrayed as House's moment of revelation.

Now see I'd like to think House took the vicodin cause Wilson didn'take the hint - you know lying prone on couch with arms behind head.

Is Wilson the only person who can actually successfully lie to House? As long I remember, yes :D And yes, I love it! While I do think Wilson is a good liar when he is well prepared, I still feel a little surprised why House always, always believes him so easily. Does he need to have someone in his life that he can trust completely? Does he knows that Wilson lies to him because he cares? But not all Wilson's lies are about House's well-being (Grace!). Why House chooses to believe him?

I have this urge to share this with you now

Lully- 10-24-2007

That's the kind of urge that I really love  I don't care what the non-shippers say, but does House ever look to another person that way?

Jouse- 10-24-2007

NO  Slashy spoilers if anybody's interested: also in episode 5, for some reason, i have no idea why, house drags the patient into the OR where Wilson is there operating. House tries to pass the patient off as another doctor, but Wilson just wants to know what is going on. The patient starts to mirror Wilson. Later on Wilson brings this up and makes fun of House for being his bitch (my word) and pretty much doing everything Wilson ever says.

Lully- 10-24-2007

Oh, I read that, but I never go to the specutation thread (too much angst...) but maybe I'll do an exception... How do I love that spoiler!!!

Taiga- 10-24-2007

How you torture me with your taunting of spoilers! Which I find astonishing as he's supposed to be a human polygraph and has called many other apparently truthful people on their lies. Yet Wilson couldn't have been more obvious with his stuttering and lame excuses. Well, he was on speeeed. And as others have pointed out Wilson is bad at spontaneous lying. So did House really not know? He clearly suspected something, but I don't think he realized what was up until he found himself smiling at the patient. Is Wilson the only person who can actually successfully lie to House? According to Doris Egan, writer and executive producer, yes. She's mentioned that a few times in her blog posts.

Wilson's awesome. House, is awesome. Put the two together, and you have lots of quirky witty awesomeness. In fact, there's so much awesomeosity, that the room would probably explode from it, given it's already not exploded from sexual tension. *grins* I was a House/Wilson fan before I found Chase/House, and I still love it- what's there NOT to love about Wilson's character, after all? XD

Jouse yes!!!!!! the hoytinis are flowing over in the hoyay thread. I absolutely love the closing H/W scene in Family. Wilson and House look so hot. and the way House follows Wilson and Hector out of the office and then stares after them is just made of awesomeness. Feeds my hoyay heart.
