On the way back to Wilson's room they run into House, who had come by to drop off the DVD of the season finale of El Fuego del Amour that he had secured as an apology for the electrocution. House says something caustic and snarky, scaring off the pool-boy. Then they have eye!sex. Fade to the long summer hiatus until Season 5. Where TPTB forget that any of that ever happened. No,no. There's been a lot of talk about Wilson's lies to House - I'm wondering how people interpret the behavior in Resignation. Watching the "speeed!" scene again I remember how, even when I originally saw it, Wilson's "You can't take ADs, you need a workup" line seemed so suspicious. Obviously he had already been dosing House, and thus couldn't give him a double dose when House demanded them to prove he didn't have depression. Yet Wilson is so OBVIOUSLY lying, and House doesn't appear to pick up on it (at least at that point.) Which I find astonishing as he's supposed to be a human polygraph and has called many other apparently truthful people on their lies. Yet Wilson couldn't have been more obvious with his stuttering and lame excuses. So did House really not know? Is Wilson the only person who can actually successfully lie to House?
