I'm still basking in the HL/RSL interview. HOW GREAT IS IT that they promised more H/W shenanigans while staring directly at the camera? Is it possible that promise was made especially for us, H/W shippers? :wub:

I pick up an HL-RSL close friendship vibe and awesome chemistry between the actors. Even if I thought there was more to it, I wouldn't say it cause you know they have families. Do you think that here in this thread the TPTB eventually have read? There's a conversation on the James Wilson thread about whether Wilson is a "closet case." If you take that term to mean someone who is hiding his (or her) head in the proverbial sand in order to avoid facing some truth about himself, I think a pretty good case could be made that House and Wilson both qualify. I think the basic thing they lie to themselves about is how much they love each other. Each of them is emotionally entirely wrapped up in the other. I don't care whether they each subconsciously want to jump the other, have a truly platonic relationship (like Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry) or something in between -- those two men love each other. Sexuality I don't think House is gay. He may be straight, bi or straight with the exception of Wilson. I can't decide about Wilson's basic sexuality. I don't think he's purely straight. If he's gay, I really doubt he has even begun to acknowledge it to himself. Or he's bi, especially when it comes to House.

I just think Wilson is the love of House's life and he has the hots for him. Don't think it has anything to do with gender. House is not interested in men, he's interested in Wilson. And I agree, my poor baby Wilson is so clueless. Okay I'm going to take this opportunity to free associate. As I was writing, I just thought of Wilson's response to CTB (97 secs) "Don't assume anything - don't fall into that trap." Wilson wants to be with House but he doesn't assume House wants to be with him - the FFL Poconos weekend; the AYA play date; the Alone lunch; the Half-Wit pizza and a movie with a friend, etc. Of course House's first post-Tritter/ post-cancer scare gesture is a booty call date at 2am in the morning (Family). I think we need information on how House and Wilson met and why Wilson got married after he met House. House said that Wilson was compulsive about staying on good terms with his exes. Is House one of Wilson's ex-relationships? What did Wilson mean when he told Cameron "he's my friend. It's complicated." Why was Wilson willing to go to jail for House? In FFL, Wilson told House, he was a miserable bastard who couldn't stand be alone. Yet Stacy accused House of leaving her alone all the time. So even when Wilson was married and House was involved with Stacy, House and Wilson were still spending a great deal of time together. Also, Wilson told Stacy, for House a kiss is not just a kiss and "are you being intentinally thick?" God I loved that line. Sorry about the rambling.

It explains Wilson's constant reluctance to trust House. He doesn't want to be disappointed so he assumes the worst. House really let him down during the whole Tritter fiasco and Wilson's probably nervous about getting hurt like that again.

Shemett, I think you misunderstanding me. I wasn't talking about what the characters should, would or could do in the show. I was talking about the actors HL and RSL in their private lives. RPS is Real Person Slash, a fanfiction story that pair two real persons and usually has nothing to do with the characters they portrayed. I have absolutely anything against it. It's just not my kind of fanfiction :)
