I Love You: House/Wilson

I am now a HoYayer. I love H/W slash in fanfics, but have always been of the "intensely close platonic friends" viewpoint of the show. But watching the 2 of them in that interview -- it doesn't even matter if David Shore and the writers are planning it. HL and RSL are planning it. Absolutely.

Oh God, I love that tv.com HL/RSL interview. They are just so natural together and their chemistry just oozes right through the screen. Oh and when they smile at each other - Lordy Jesus - very, very hot. I asked this on the speculation thread so I'll ask it here too. RSL referred to the H/W relationship as Oscar and Felix. We all know that Oscar and Felix were roommates. Was RSL sort of giving us a subtle little hint about where he might end up if he were to turn in his hotel card key?

It kind of makes my soul die a little bit every time, because as gay as Felix was, there wasn't a whole lot going on between the two guys as far as a romantic relationship went. I guess YMMV but when RSL calls them that it worries me. Hopefully, he can see that the H/W relationship isn't quite as platonic...

Of course, that was back in the Seventies, where they wouldn't exactly show the gay. Remember, that was only a decade removed from Rob and Laura Petri's censor-mandated twin beds (and Laura was only allowed to wear pants in one scene per ep!) I have high hopes for the "new" Odd Couple. OK, maybe not show it on screen, but very, very implied!!

I took it to mean that they may become roommates again - maybe in that unit down the street from the hospital that Bonnie never got to show House. And I don't think it necessarily means platonic. The original odd TV couple premiered in the 70s. That was over 35 years ago. I think this version of Oscar/Felix will involve some touching cause liquid Tide sells!!

Can I be a buzzkill and interrupt the adorableness of HL and RSL? Don't shot me! I'm curious about something brought up in the Wilson/Cameron thread: that scene in Role Model, when House asked about Wilson putting the moves on Cameron. At the time I thought it was about House/Cameron but now, after Debby, Grace, Wendy and even Cuddy, I was thinking: was House really jealous of Cameron? Didn't make much more sense that he was jealous of Wilson? And by the way, that interview? All kinds of awesome! :wub:
